| im a local new yorker and took my boyfriend on this tour as a goodbye gift (moving to miami) and a way to do a few touristy things he'd never gotten the chance to do while living here. we both loved it. our guide was very friendly and informative. really interesting details about a neighborhood i thought i knew pretty well. the food was diverse and delicious and almost too much for us to finish (almost!). the only thing i would change is maybe to include the option of getting a drink at the cuban place in the price or possibly discount the drink given that essentially the whole tour is supposed to be covered by your one time fee. other than that, it was a great experience, i've already recommended it to several friends and family members. | ||||||

| We've been on the East Village Tour and the Meatpacking/Chelsea Tour so we knew we'd enjoy this tour as well and indeed we did! Raheem, our guide, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very attentive to the needs of the group. He gets an A+! A few of the food choices did not live up to the quality of the other tours, specifically the Indian food. The fresh, smoked mozzerella, sun dried tomatoes and Italian sausage were excellent as was the pear tart. Our mouths are still watering! The next time we're in New York City we plan to go on the Chinatown tour. Several of the people on our tour were raving about that one too! I would recommend all the Foods of NY Tours I've been on. You learn interesting historical facts, eat great food and get some exercise to boot. It's a win/win experience!! | ||||||

| I recommend this tour completely! I have been coming to NYC for five years now, and this was my favorite outing so far. The detail and care taken in the tour to inform everyone in a fun way about the history of the district was perfect. Kirk is THE tour guide to get --- he knows everything about food and barely takes breaths in between telling stories and learning everyone's name. Next time I come to NYC I'm going to take another tour from this company! Thank you! | ||||||

| We loved the tour and would highly recommend it. Our tour guide, Marie, was fabulous! It is a lot of standing, so be prepared that aspect. Great fun! | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Kurt was fantastic! The combination of him, the food, and the location made this an unbeatable value. we both agreed it was the highlight of our trip. We were fortunate with good weather too. all of the food tastings were very good - especially the rice balls, pizza, gelato and cannoli. have already recommended this tour to friends. | ||||||

| What a wonderful way to spend 3 hours wandering around the Village. We didn't know a lot about this area but will certainly return with all the knowledge we attained on the tour. Kurt, our tour guide was full of good information and lots of tidbits that only an insider would know. He shared it all with us. The food samples were delicious and generous. We were full upon the end of our journey. I can't wait til we return to New York so we can venture on one of the other tastings. | ||||||

| Great introduction to the West Village neighborhood. Food tastings and local history as told by our guide, Heather, were excellent. The "tastings" were more than enuogh for lunch. Also enjoyed the "sit down" tasting as it was nice to get off of our feet for 20 minutes in the middle of the 3 hour tour. We walked to and from our hotel in Times Square to the tour...about 2.4 miles each way...and glad for it as we felt the excercise helped work of some of the calories! We left the city this morning to return to Boston but before leaving we drove back to the village...to buy some cookies and cookie mix from Milk and Cookies Bakery, some freshly made Rice Balls from Faicco's (the Pork store) and a whole pizza pie from Joe's. Needless to say, we had some of each during our 4 hour ride home. We will be back in NYC next summer and will definitely do another food tour! | ||||||
