| I don't think that I would have even known that the Chelsea Market exsisted if I hadn't taken this tour. It is very cute and it was a nice date for my boyfriend and me. The tour guide, Daryl, was funny and well informed. We even saw Cynthia Nixon from Sex in the City buying some tea! | ||||||

| We really enjoyed the Greenwich Village Tour and highly recommend it. Our guide was really fun and made the tour very enjoyable. He pointed out many things and made sure that we were always having a good time. The food was quite tasty, and we were full at the end of it. If you're a Cosby Show fan, I would ask the guide which home was used in the intro to the show as where the Huxtables lived...something we didn't think about when on the tour. | ||||||

| My boyfriend and I loved the tour. We were more than full when it was over. The tour guide was very informative and truly interested in her job. We would definitely reccomend this tour to anyone who loves New York, and of course, food. | ||||||

| A GREAT WAY TO LEARN ABOUT A SECTION OF NEW YORK CITY. I WOULDN'T HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT SEEING THIS PART OF THE CITY, BUT AFTER TAKING THIS TOUR I WILL RETURN TO EXPLORE FURTHER. I'VE SCHEDULE ANOTHER TOUR FOR MY WIFE AND I IN THE NEAR FUTURE THROUGH THE MEATPACKING DISTRICT. | ||||||

| This is the best tour ever! I have done it three times and it gets better everytime. If you are wanting to se the "real" New York, this tour is a must do! The food and information is wonderful! It was the first time for my family and they thought is was the highlight of their trip! | ||||||

| We signed up for the tour not at all knowing what to expect. Bob was extremely knowledgeable and brought alive the history of the neighbourhood giving us a new perspective on the area. Food samples were generous! We would definitely recommend this tour to anybody looking for a unique experience in New York. Fabulous! | ||||||

| My husband and I enjoyed the Greenwich Village food tour this past Saturday afternoon with Marie. She was a great guide who provided a wealth of information and "behind the scenes" stories of the area. Not only did we get to try some delicious food but we also learned so much history of the area and got a peak into the lives of the residents now and in the past. The restaurants and stores chosen for the tour were top-notch and did not spare expense to give us a taste of their offerings. We would definitely recommend the tour and hope to do it again in the future. | ||||||

| Sefra took us through Greenwich Village, sharing the MOST DELICIOUS treats in the city. From pizza to chocolate chip cookies to fine cheeses, this food tour was tasty and entertaining. My 17- and 19-year-old daughters and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone (who doesn't mind walking/standing for three hours!). Thanks for a great time! | ||||||

| My brother and his girlfriend joined us in NYC for this tour, he and she from Albany, us from Florida. They like food and we like history. They loved the food and surprisingly, so did we. There was a lot more food than I imagined, and it was all really tasty, liked everything and ate it all. The guide was terrific too, very NYC girl. | ||||||

| My wife and I are spending more time in Manhattan for business reasons and will be living in Chelsea. So we both really enjoyed getting to know better places that we will be frequenting. Diana was an excellent guide, both knowledgeable and entertaining. The one thing that I would note is that we were told that we could receive a 10% discount for purchases at the stores we visited on the tour if we told them that we were with "Foods of New York". When we went back right after the tour to make a few purchases, the employees at the stores looked at us like we were crazy and were trying to pull one over on them. Foods of New York should get that straight with the stores, since that was disappointing. (Also tell Diana that oversized wine bottles are named after kings mentioned in the Bible and that Nebuchadnezzar was a Babylonian king. ;-) ) We are looking forward to taking other tours with Foods of New York when time permits. | ||||||

| My wife and I took this tour as part of my birthday celebrations. Diana (or Diane) was our tour guide. We had a really good time going to the various gourmet food places and restaurants. Diana gave us a very detailed and interesting history of how the Chelsea market came into being. We also enjoyed the inside peek into the high end restaurants Morimoto and Del Posto during their off hours. I would recommend this trip to friends and would like to revisit all these places again on our own. We were quite tired at the end of the tour...but I guess that goes to show that a lot of ground was covered during this tour. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a hat and sunglasses if for the outdoor part. | ||||||
