| This tour gives you a real sense of the varied past to the eclectic present. Centuries later it continues to hold a strong bond to its past. The food was all delightful. I tried many things I would never have thought to try. Very filling--come hungry. | ||||||

| Susan was a terrific host; she possessed great knowledge of the area and was enthusiastic about all the foods and the sites we visited. The pace and the length of the tour was just right. I would do another food tour in a New York minute. | ||||||

| This is a great tour, even for someone who grew up in NYC and used to work in the Village area. The variety of food options was impressive and while a lot of the eating is done standing up or "al fresco" that really is part of the fun. And it helps to have a great guide - Mike. He knows his food, he knows the neighborhood and the people there know him! | ||||||

| We had a great time. Our guide gave us great insight into the history behind the Chelsea Market and kept the tour interesting. The food tasting was awesome as well. I would recommend it to others to try. | ||||||

| We have been to New York a few times and were looking for something different than the "typical" tours. A native New Yorker actually recommended the tour and we were thrilled. It was just up our alley~ food, culture, and history. The tour exceeded our expectations. We look forward to returning to New York and participating in a different neighborhood tour. We have been recommending it to everyone we tell about our great trip~ tourists and locals alike! | ||||||

| Four college friends visiting from MS. Rahim was the best! He knew so much about the area and about the different cuisine. He made it fun and we will look for another tour with him on future trips to NYC! Thanks to him for making our venture thru these new cultures so enjoyable! The pizza at Grandaisy was wonderful and we tried Monte's the next night and it was even better than our tasting! Thank you! | ||||||

| The history of Greenwich Village is amazing! I had no idea what is right in my own backyard! Our guide Barri was a wealth of information and made the day fun and exciting....AND the food was phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everyone should take this tour...........I can't stop talking about it! | ||||||

| We spent 2 hours in Chelsea Markets which was too much. It could have been covered in half the time. Our tour guide (Kurt) was great, but the tour itself was just OK. | ||||||

| We were told about this tour by a co-worker of my daughter and have already e-mailed her with our thanks. We had a great time and the food was wonderful. I usually, actually never, try new things but the steamed dumplings and the rice balls were my favorites, oh yea, the chocolate chip cookie was wonderful. We learned many interesting facts we would have never had the opportunity to find out from our guide. He was very knowledgable and considerate of our safety crossing roads. This is our 8th annual trip to NY and we have taken the bus tour and walked around Greenwich by ourselves but never noticed all the restaurants and especially the farm house behind one. We will recommend this tour to anyone going to NY. Thanks for a great time. | ||||||

| Our group leader was organized, fun and sensitive to the needs of our group. She was aware of the needs we had and addressed our questions. I thought she made our tour fun and moved us along and shared so many interesting facts and details. We loved the friendly neighborhood restaurants and food samples. Our day on the walking tour was a highlight of our trip to NYC. | ||||||

| we had a group of 4--two cooks and two non cookers--we ALL enjoyed the tour very much!! It was a way to try different foods that we would not have tried!! We ALL enjoyed the tour very much. | this tour was a great way to quickly get a grasp of this fascinating neighborhood. I never would have known where to go, nor been able to taste such a wide variety of different foods on my own. i especially appreciated the historical and cultural insights shared by the tour guide. On future trips to New York, i am more confident to further explore this neighborhood on my own. | ||||||

| This tour was excellent! Our group leader, Ed, was friendly and knew about the area in detail. We learned a lot about the West Village and enjoyed great food as well. The food tastings were spaced so that we were full but not too full. We can't wait to go back on our own to try several of the restaurants. We also plan to take a different tasting tour in the near future. It was a highlight of our trip. | ||||||
