Foods of New York Tours

We had a great time - learned a lot of interesting facts about the village and tasted some wonderful food. Our tour guide was fantastic!!! Well worth the price...

I highly recommend this, it was enlightening and informative, a great way to be introduced to this wonderful neighborhood. The cheese shop, chocolate shop and the speakeasy were highlights. We went back and had dinner at Chumleys. It's so helpful to get recommendations and the tour was really fun! I will recommend your company to anyone I know who travels to NYC!! Thanks for a great time. Andre did a great job!

It was a great way to learn about the historical Greenwich Village. The tastings were certainly a cross section of the food of this neighbourhood. We enjoyed strolling the streets of this delightful neighbourhood. We will definitely return to try the restaurants not visited on this tour but highly recommended by Zerve. We would definitely recommend this tour to our friends.

tour guide was intelluctual and an excellent speaker but a bit pretentious...and actually was a bit more intellectual than actually knowledable about the area. she also gave some incorrect answers to some questions. but overall i'd give the tour top scores.

This was a wonderful experience! The guide was knowledgeable and pleasant, and if not for the heat and humidity (not her fault!) we could have gone on for hours. There was a nice variety in the food selections and the portions were generous. I would recommend this tour to others and would happily take a similar one myself.

Very interesting to learn about the area and the guide was very considerate of the heat, making sure everyone was comfortable . Highly recommend this tour. The food samples were delicious.

The Greenwich Village walking tour was very enjoyable. Not only do you get to sample varied types of food, you also learn a great deal about the history and culture of Greenwich Village. I highly recommend it.

My husband and college and high school kids enjoyed the tour. Of course I enjoyed it, my second time! The food is wonderful, our tour guide grew up in Greenwich Village and the three hours flew by!

we all give accolades to Cindy our guide; she's FAB and really made the market come alive for us. we left feeling that she's a jewel for the promotion/explanation of this venue. also loved the format of tasting around. we stopped back to buy more of Amy's breads. a great day!!

Very enjoyable experience. We tasted many exceptional pastries and other food items. I would recommend that anyone going to New York City go on this tour believe me you will not regret it. When we were finished tha tour we were all full from eating so much.

We both had a great time. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and able to answer all our questions. Food was very tasty and I will definetly visit some of the restaurants we saw. I would recommend tour to anyone except people with small children. We had two children on our tour who only made it through half way.

I recommend the tour for other foreigners in NYC because it gives you an excellent chance to find places you wouldn´t otherwise find and the food is superb!

Take this tour! Fantastic selection of food at places you might not get to otherwise. The guide also points out other neat restaurants to try later, and a few historical facts along the way. I was stuffed by the end -- pastries, pizza, cheeses with olives, falafel, chocolate. ... Definitely worth the money.

I really enjoyed the tour, throughly recommend it, apart from all the great food tastings what I most enjoyed was the history regarding the area and the food establishements we visited. I'm looking forward to doing the Chelsea next time I am in town.
