| I live in New York and frequently have visitors from out of town. I get really bored taking people to the same old touristy spots. The food tour was a great way to spend the day. My friends really loved it and we all enjoyed learning about some of the special local restaurants. The historical aspect of the tour was great too. I totally recommend the Greenwich Village tour... sign up for Curt's group. He's hilarious and has an uncanny ability to remember everyone's name. | ||||||

| This wasn't our first FoodTours walk, and this one, like the one we did in Greenwich Village two years ago didn't disappoint, with plenty of interesting dialogue and some really nice stores. The problem I see is Zerve. When trying to book online it wanted me to remember sign-in data from my last transaction with them two years ago! When I couldn't do so it would not let me proceed since I was using the same email address as before. Even after two transatlantic telephone calls we ended up having to use my wife's email address to reserve. Clearly Zerve are quite happy to let their desire to build a database of hacked off users(in this case at least) interfere with the generation of business for their clients . If I were FoodTours I'd get out of Zerve as fast as my legs could carry me- they might be costing them a fortune. If I were Zerve I'd change my system so it first and foremost made it easy for willing customers to complete a transcation and forget about linking one transaction to another unless they can learn to do it elegantly. The user names , passwords, and security data I give a booking agency are not very important to me, and if Zerve think I should keep records of this stuff in case I want to use them again, they must be delusional. Its a one off transaction, not the start of a beautiful relationship. But the tour was great- and did I mention that Zerve are a pain. | ||||||

| This tour was far more than anyone in our group had expected. We are all local and have been to the market many times, but we were looking for something different to do. As it turned out, it was not only something different, but it was a GREAT time. We sampled some yummy food and laughed for three hours, thanks to our phenomenal tour guide Kurt. Not only was it fun, but it was informative and interesting. It was three hours well spent. Thank You Kurt!!! | ||||||

| We've been to NYC for 15 years and felt very familiar with it but we learned plenty of new and interesting information. It was a pleasant and entertaining way to spend the afternoon. We're looking forward to going back to the West Village next year and exploring more. | ||||||

| We took the Grenwich Village tour in 2004 and would recomend that tour over this tour. It was explained before we left that the tour was altered slightly because it was cold that day. The tour was very enjoyable despite the changes. Thanks Bobby McKee | ||||||

| We had a wonderful tour led by Barri. She wove a lovely story as we moved from pizza place... to food shop... to restaurant. Our appreciate of Greenwich Village and it's food increased as the tour continued. A fun way to learn about the village and NY food history, while enjoying tasty treats along the way | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. I was especially pleased that the tour guide started exactly on time, latecomers had to find us we didn't have to wait on them. The only thing i would change is the tipping policy. Can't you pay your folks what you need to and charge it in the ticket price or make it clear that tips are expected and not included in the ticket price? | ||||||

| You provided us with fabulous tastings, both standing and sitting opportunities, plenty of interesting history, and opportunities to see inside shops, restaurants, and homes. You also had a guide, Curt, who was knowledgeable, thorough, humorous, and gentlemanly. Our own group of 8 tourists (three were in NYC for the first time) said this was one of their favorite events in their week-long visit to the Big Apple. We will certainly recommend this tour to others. | ||||||

| We brought our daughter and her friend who are in their 20's. They aren't big fans of "tours" and weren't sure at first. Kurt, our guide, was very entertaining and knowledgeable, and the girls kept repeating how glad they were that we had included this in our plans. Thanks! | ||||||
