Great way to explore a new neigborhood!

Everything was great fun, and the booklet is a wonderful souvenir. We realy enjoyed our guide, Cindy, but don't you think she's a lttle too shy for this type of work? :-) What's missing for me is the "insider information" such as historical buildings that we saw, e.g., Edna St. Vincent Millay's house, etc. Any chance you might include them is your next update of the booklet or provide it to customers on request?

we were met by Bert who looked after our group really well. explaining a little history about the buildings and kept us all together as we were taken to various eateries for lots of 'tasters' including delicous pizza and other delights some of which i had never heard of before. the food was excellent the service was excellent and it made me fall in love with Greenwich Village and the history of the food. I loved it

We found it a culturally and historically factual tour. Great knowledge of the area from the guide was particularly significant to the culture of the area. Walking Greenwich village was particularly charming as was sampling the the food got the taste buds going.

We've been to the city 10-12 times, and have taken a number of tours, but this one left us with a unique feeling. The feeling was that we had a "home" in New York. That is, we were so immersed in the restaurants in the neighborhood (along with some interesting history and architecture.....but mostly the restaurants and food), that we felt very comfortable returning to the area time and again. We were confident that the places visited on the tour, as well as the tour-recommended places we did not visit, were very, very good, and parenthetically, represented very good value. And they did, without exception. The tour was fast-paced, lively and fun. Highly recommended, particularly at the beginning of a visit to the city. Then you will also have a "home" for the time you are there.

So happy we went on the tour. Gave us an opportunity to see another part of NYC and it was everything it was advertised to be. Susan was a great guide, very informed, friendly, enthusiastic...great ambassator for the village. I made the mistake of eating breakfast, the tastes were generous and delicious, wonderful selection and variety. I had never tasted Indian cuisine, a treat. The stop and Montes and the Cuba were my favorite...but it would be really hard to say, all was so tasty. Loved the history shared.

A fabulous food tour worth every penny spent!

This tour came highly recommended to me and it was well worth the money. Our guide Barri was fabulous! She is very knowledgeable and tells great stories. We enjoyed the food samples on the tour and learning about the historical background behind some of the buildings. FRIENDS is my all-time favorite show so I really appreciated seeing the building where the characters supposedly lived. If you do this tour, you won't regret it. It's worth every penny and the company is great! If I ever come back to New York, I would definitely do another tour and go to all the lovely food places that were recommended to me on this food tour.

Girls on get-a-way

Six females on getaway to NYC to celebrate 60th birthdays. Food tour was fun and informative. The guide could have been a bit more engaging with the entire group. This is not my first food tour - did Chicago as well as Old Scottsdale. Would have liked an itinerary of the exact places visited as well as a written bit about them. Did not need two pizza places. Talked about amy's bakery but didn't visit it. All in all, we did enjoy the time.

Barri our tour guide was wonderful and showed us so many great places. I enjoyed the opportunity to see many great restaurants and sites that I probably wouldn't have experienced otherwise. You get plenty of delicious food, have rest and bathroom stops along the way and have the chance to meet and interact with other tour attendees as well. Great tour, I'm now a huge Greenwich Village fan!

Our guide, Rahim, was entertaining, energetic & informative. The food selections were delicious & diverse. The restaurants on the tour were gracious & generous. The tour included historical information and sights to add to our pleasure. The afternoon was a delight we shared with our grown son who lives in NYC. Sunday evening we returned to a music venue introduced on our tour to catch a performance. We are already looking forward to attending another Foods of NY Tour on our next visit. Bravo!

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon in Greenwich Village with our tour guide, Heather. The food was wonderful and we learned so much about a part of New York City that was right under our noses, but previously unexplored. I highly recommend this tour company, they are true professionals.

Met with a group of friends and we were fortunate to have Diana as our guide. She is knowledgable and funny, and really kept things interesting. We learned about the history of Chelsea market and got to taste all sorts of delicious food. If you are looking for a fun, tasty way to experience NYC, this is it.
