Tour Was Everything We Hoped It Would Be!!

| The expectiions of the tour were certainly fullfilled. The food tasting of the various business's were very generous and at the same time we learned the history of the business and the neighborhood. We also received the background and history of "The Village" which included the archtecture of the various residences including detailed architectural facts that defined the history of the buildings which was of interest to us. We met some New Yorker's and when we told them we had been to Chumley's, the question was "How did you find out about Chumley's?" The answere was of course "Our FoodTour of Greenwich Village!" We enjoyed the tour very much and would recommend it to our friends. Bari was a delight and very informative and enthusiastic regarding her presentation of "The Village." Gloria Castle | ||||||

| I would recommend it to anyone I know. The guide was very knowledgeable, and provided me with a new perspective on the Village. Food was gret too. | ||||||

| We did not know what to expect on this food tour - having done nothing like it before .... we went into it with some trepidation. But the whole tour, the information, the style, the enthusiasm (to name but a few) made it a great experience. We had been to NYC before but, now feel like we really know a small corner in a hell of a lot of detail and can recommend to our British friends who come to visit your city. Great Stuff!! | ||||||

| OUR TOUR GUIDE, CURT OR KURT OR? WAS ONE OF THE BEST GUIDES WE HAVE HAD. IN THE PAST 2 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN ON SEVERAL TOURS AND HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE SUBJECT WAS AS GOOD OR BETTER THAT ANY TOUR WE HAVE BEEN ON. (BUS TOURS, WALKI NG TOURS, GUIDED TOURS) iF HE WILL BE THE GUIDE, WE WILL COME BACK FOR MORE. MAYBE A FOOD NETWORK TOUR. | ||||||

| My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide, Kirk, made the tour lots of fun with his enthusiasm and his accute knowledge of all the little "secret spots". The food tastings were awesomely good and the samples were more then adequate' as most of us were busting by the end of the tour wondering if we could eat another thing! While I had been in Greenwich Village many times before this was like seeing it for the first time. Don't miss this tour, and definately see if Kirk can be your guide. He is as much fun as the tour with his humourous comments and quips. | ||||||

| After taking the Greenwich Village Food Tour last year we weren't sure we could top it, however, the Chelsea Mkt. Tour this year was just as fabulous! We had an amazing three hours of touring, food tasting, sightseeing, history lessons, etc. and we loved it. Kurt, our guide, was delightful!! We would recommend the NYC Food Tours to everyone -- can't wait to try the future SoHo tour on our next visit!! | ||||||

| Mother from Miami, Grown son who lives in the village took this tour on a rather cold day. Guide, has lived in Village for many years and was very knowledgeable entertaining,a d kept out interest in the bitter cold for 3 hours. Well worth the time and the cost. Believe this is an adult activity, not for young children. Should be on list of what to do when in NYC. Will definately do another area when in NYC again. SG from Miami | ||||||
