We really enjoyed the experience of the Japanese Tapas. I highly recommend adding on the beverages, the beer and sake greatly complement the food and complete the whole experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared his experiences of the Japanese culture. Having just traveled to Japan the previous summer, these authentic Japanese courses were a reminder of the cuisine we experienced there. Each course was fantastic and had something new to learn about and try. The explanation behind how each dish is made and why it is presented in the way it is was fascinating. I highly recommend this activity! Kumpai! |

Food (and drinks) were of the highest quiality and plentiful. Raheed was very knowledgeable and very entusiastic. We would highly recomment it.
Looking forward to future Chinatown tour. |

The host , Raheem, was the best, thank you so much! The atmosphere was nice, The presentation was very smooth and interesting enough to keep us captavated a whole time . We learned a lot of new informaiton. The only minus is that it will be much harder to find a good sushi place now:-) The one we concidered the best in our township doesn't seem authentic any more.
Will defently recomend this tour to everyone. |

overall a great experience! The food was so delicious, the information was interesting, and the experience gave me a new appreciation for Japanese culture. I have already recommended it to just about everyone i know! |

I went as an idividual and was completely comfortable. Our host was knowledgable and very excited about what was being served and the stories behind the preparations and signifcance.
The group was a nice mix, only 7 of us which was unusually small. Some had been on previous FoudTourNY outings and were raving about those as well.
A great way to expand your palate. I found myself sampling dishes I wouldn't ordinarily try and finding them enjoyable. |

Very informative. There was a Japanese visitor in the group and even she has learned a great deal which she hadn't known before. Food was delicious and definitely enough. |

This Japanese food tasting was very informative. The food that was presented, explained and ate was delicious in every way. I definitely learned alot and will use that knowledge the next time I am out for sushi or any other Japanese food. The price is well worth it, you get more then you pay for.
I will be back with friends and family. |

Our tour guide was great, very informative and personable. The food was authentic and beautifully prepared. I learned a lot and had a very fun evening. I will do another food tour when I take my next trip to NYC. I highly recommend it! |

This is my third Foods of NY experience, and I'm sure that I'll be back for another. The guide, Raheem, is very knowledgeable and engaging throughout the experience. The food was great. My girlfriend and I enjoyed tasting and learning about each dish; although, now we'll be spoiled for the rest of our sushi eating days. |

THE MOST unique NYC experience. We learned so much about the foods we were tasting, ate amazing sushi and tapas, and drank wonderful beer and saki. Very pleasurable for a couple on a date. Raheem's knowledge of Japanese customs and foods MADE THE EVENT what it is! Do it!! |
