| We did the sushi tour with Raheem on Sat May 31st and absolutely loved it! Great presentation by Raheem explaining the history of sushi, methods of prep, ingredients and what makes good sushi. Ate foods I never would have dared try without a guide, many that sounded awful but tasted great. Pacing of talk and eating was just right and made for a full evening of entertainment while leaving time for a grocery shopping trip at Trader Joe's a few blocks away. Experienced high end stuff like REAL wasabi and top shelf Saki. Learned that I DO like saki when it's the good stuff :+} |

| Rahim, our host was amazing! He has so much information and knowledge about Japanese culture . He has visited Japan and weaves stories of his life, his education and food together so well, we were all captivated. The food at Ariyoshi was wonderful. I do not think we have ever had such wonderful sushi, nigri and Japanese tapas! I am glad we were a party of 4 because between everyone in the group we managed to remember a fair amount of what we learned. I would definitley recommend this tour. |

| We had a really good dinner....we were able to taste a wide range of japanese cuisine. The sake choices put a nice glow on the evening. Our host was fantastic!! He made the what was almost 3 hours pass by in a way that made you feel like you were in a little retreat. |

| The guide was exceptional: full of energy, very knowledgeable, funny, a first-class host.
On the other hand, the food was very Americanised. This is not really Japanese food, it's what Americans think that Japanese food is (exception: sushi).
Also, quality and variety were not really very good. There are much better addresses in New York for Japanese food.
I would keep the guide and change the restaurant. |

| From start to finish our Sushi Experience was excellant. The presentation of the sushi and the description and history provided were just right. Our host was knowledgable and gave many "real life' examples. There was pleanty of food. I'm a 220 pound guy and it satisfied my needs.
One question on your web site --- Information provided during the dinner taught us that sushi (typical fish on rice) was meant to be eaten with your fingers, however, the picture on the Foods of New York web site shows chop sticks. Probably just to please the Western culture????? |

| I thought the sushi tour was excellent. The food was very interesting and some different from any sushi I had ever tasted. The explanation of the several courses was very educational and gave great insight into the Japanese culture. Our married children and spouses who live in NYC truly enjoyed the evening. Very worth while. |

| One of our best dinning experiences we have had in New York. The service was great and the food presentation superb. Raheem our guide was brilliant making our evening very enjoyable and informative. I highly recommend it. I can not wait to go back to New York to try some of the other tours. |

| Our tour guide was great, very informative and personable. The food was authentic and beautifully prepared. I learned a lot and had a very fun evening. I will do another food tour when I take my next trip to NYC. I highly recommend it! |
