The tour was very informative and filling. Rahim (tour guide) was very personable and knowledgable about Sushi and it's origin. I learned a great deal. The food was very good and plentifull. I would highly recommend this tour.

OK

Thought he provided too much information. Would rather he told less and made it simpler. He also didn't give anybody at the table a chance to talk to each other. Felt more like a lecture.

It could not have been better. Japanese food never tasted as good, and Rahim knew his stuff cold.

An enjoyable journey into Japanese cuisine

You will enjoy this and learn even if you've loved sushi for quite some time, like me. The host is very enthusiastic and a walking wikipedia of sushi and Japanese cuisine knowledge (although not actually of Japanese origin, interestingly). The food and drinks are good, but i would think of it more as lesson material and less as of a kind of dinner one might order at a restaurant. The host will walk you through a large number of different dishes prepared in very different ways and he will probably change a few preconcieved notions in the process.

Second Tour and the Best Yet!

I thought the sushi tour was excellent. The food was very interesting and some different from any sushi I had ever tasted. The explanation of the several courses was very educational and gave great insight into the Japanese culture. Our married children and spouses who live in NYC truly enjoyed the evening. Very worth while.

One of our best dinning experiences we have had in New York. The service was great and the food presentation superb. Raheem our guide was brilliant making our evening very enjoyable and informative. I highly recommend it. I can not wait to go back to New York to try some of the other tours.
