| The menu was extensive. The food was excellent and beautifully presented.
The food/beverage pairings were thoughtful and delicious. We appreciated learning about the symbolism of the meal. Raheem, our food guide was knowledgeable but not intrusive. The unhurried pace of the meal added to our enjoyment. We will return to the featured restaurant on our own and we plan to take another tour.
Great for locals and out of towners.
Highly recommended. |

| Decided to go at the last minute - everyone was out of town and I wanted to go out! Did not expect to learn anything new about Japanese tapas or sushi since I consider myself a foodophile - but I was wrong. Raheem was a fantastic tour guide and the restaurant we ate in was terrific. Had some new tastes, learned a lot and met some great people from out of town. We had so much fun that we all went out for the evening afterwards.
I highly recommend this tour - really knowledgeable guide, fabulous food and sake, and lots of fun! |

| Raheem was very knowledgeable and completely charming. We didn't LOVE everything we ate, but it was an awesome experience and we were very full afterwards. I am happy I learned so much about sushi and Japanese culture. I have done almost all the tours Foods of New York offers except the Chinatown one that I want to do with Raheem when I'm in NY on a Wednesday. |

| I went as an idividual and was completely comfortable. Our host was knowledgable and very excited about what was being served and the stories behind the preparations and signifcance.
The group was a nice mix, only 7 of us which was unusually small. Some had been on previous FoudTourNY outings and were raving about those as well.
A great way to expand your palate. I found myself sampling dishes I wouldn't ordinarily try and finding them enjoyable. |

| The quality of the sushi was quite good and the experience is great for those who like to try different types of sushi. The courses flow nicely and the Red Bean Ice Cream at the end is to die for. I recommend this for anyone who wants to have a complete sushi experience! |

| I was a little skeptical about paying so much for a food tour--especially since I had never been on one and wasn't sure what to expect. However, my date and I had a wonderful time and the tour exceeded both our expectations.
The food was excellent and our guide Rashim was extremely knowledgeable about the food and culture. Also, the waitresses at the restaurant were very prompt and attentive in keeping up with the tour. I took a new liking to some foods that I had been wary about before, and it has changed the way I view Japanese cuisine. The one order of alcohol (1 beer and 2 carafes) was plenty for the two of us to taste and share. I don't think we could have drank more! But I also found that some people who wanted to order more drinks could, and that it was just added to their tab so they could pay at the end of the tour.
I highly recommend this tour to others and look forward to trying out some of the others FoodTours has to offer! |

| We did the Tasting Dinner with Raheem. He was very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgable about Japanese foods. My kids were spellbound. My 16yo son thought it was "really cool" He's hard to please. My 14yo daughter thought it was fun and delicious. The food & drink was great and there was more than enough. We learned while we enjoyed our Japanese dining experience. |
