| The menu was extensive. The food was excellent and beautifully presented.
The food/beverage pairings were thoughtful and delicious. We appreciated learning about the symbolism of the meal. Raheem, our food guide was knowledgeable but not intrusive. The unhurried pace of the meal added to our enjoyment. We will return to the featured restaurant on our own and we plan to take another tour.
Great for locals and out of towners.
Highly recommended. |

| Thought he provided too much information. Would rather he told less and made it simpler. He also didn't give anybody at the table a chance to talk to each other. Felt more like a lecture. |

| For all sushi and Japanese food lovers this is a must experience.
As long as you have time and patience this is an introductory experience for new and experienced sushi dining.
Our group loves sushi, we had a great time enjoying the variety of japanese food, and learning history and basics of sushi dining. |

| I was a little skeptical about paying so much for a food tour--especially since I had never been on one and wasn't sure what to expect. However, my date and I had a wonderful time and the tour exceeded both our expectations.
The food was excellent and our guide Rashim was extremely knowledgeable about the food and culture. Also, the waitresses at the restaurant were very prompt and attentive in keeping up with the tour. I took a new liking to some foods that I had been wary about before, and it has changed the way I view Japanese cuisine. The one order of alcohol (1 beer and 2 carafes) was plenty for the two of us to taste and share. I don't think we could have drank more! But I also found that some people who wanted to order more drinks could, and that it was just added to their tab so they could pay at the end of the tour.
I highly recommend this tour to others and look forward to trying out some of the others FoodTours has to offer! |

| I love eating sushi but always wondered about its history and how to correctly eat it. This course was not only delicious, but taught me a wealth of knowledge about the true, pure origins and preparation of sushi. I wouldn't call myself a sushi "snob" as a result of this session, but I would say that I definitely now know a lot more about quality sushi than my peers!! |

| We were visiting from Portland, OR. Loved the "tapas", thought the docent was very well informed and able to share wonderful insight, and the quality of the food overall was top-rate. |

| Even if you think you know sushi, you probably don't. The host was very knowledgable about every aspect of Japanese cuisine. The food was very good of course and the restaurant had some specialities of their own. I don't usually eat sashimi, but the ones given aren't too strong in taste, except for the mackeral in my opinion. The event duration is 2 and half hours and very casual. |
