We enjoyed this tour so much we returned to the stores and restaurants twice more during the week!

It was a great tour with a nice guide. However, last year I was on the greenwich villiage -tour and that one was 100 times better than this one. The guide we had last year, I think his name was Curt, was much more enthusiastic and we saw alot more of the neighborhood. During the chelsea-tour we spend two hours inside the Chelsea Market and saw almost nothing of the surroundings. The reason I went on a second tour this year was because i loved the one I went on last year and wanted to learn as much as I did on that one about another part of the city. It was a nice tour, but since the greenwish villiage tour was so great I expected more. I wanted to se chelsea, the hole chelsea, not only the market.

Excellent tour with very knowledgeable guide. Visited and tasted a variety of outlets produce. 9/10

The tastings were not merely samples, the food was great and it was really fun to see the market and get a taste from the different shops. Would recommend w/o reservation and will definitely take another of the food tours.

A wonderful tour and a great experience which was all down to the excellent, knowlegeable, fun and personal touch Kurt gave to the whole group, I would certainly recommend to anyone travelling to New York to book especially if you are lucky enough to have the same tour guide!

I liked the tour very much, Curt was an excellent and enthusiastic guide. However, I believe the tour should have included more food. I was starving afterwards.

Loved loved loved this. We had done the Soho tour a few years ago and it was great. This was even better. The food was delicious and plentiful. And our tour guide, Curt, was fantastic! He was a fountain of information, a wonderful story teller, and had a great sense of humor. We really learned a lot about New York and Greenwich Village. Wonderful tour!

We took the Original Greenwich Village Food & Culture Tour with Sephra on May 29th. We were a bit late joining the tour, but Sephra made us feel welcomed with her down to earth sense of humor. The tour was a great combination of not only food samplings and information, but also included quite a bit of cultural history of the area. At the end of the tour, Sephra took the time to accompany us back to the first stop, which we had missed, and saw to it that we not only visited the location, but that we had a sampling of delicious Johnny's Pizza. Two of us had taken several of the food tours with you, but agreed that the Sephra experience was one of the best ! We're planning to return to take one of the other area tours and hope we're lucky enought to sign up with Sephra again.

As mentioned by many people when I looked at reviews: the tour is great, food is tasty but it's the tour guide's knowledge and humor that were the highlight. Our female tour guide has a unpronounceable name and i apologise for not being able to write it but she sure knows her audience and made tipping her very easy! Will defo do another one again if I come back to NYC.

We learned so much about the West Village neighborhood. Our tour guide was well prepared, and informative as well as fun! He kept us engaged and fairly dry on a wet day. Our food variety was perfect as well as generous! We were not leaving hungry!

My wife and I loved the tour, even though it was a rainy day! Rahmin(?) was a fantastic guide, we went Tuesday 5/28/13 at 12:30. We will definitley take other tours, and will recommend this one to our friends. Great way to spend the afternoon in the West Village and learn more about the area and the cool restaurants we would have missed.

Our group of 3 mums and 3 daughters (13,16,23) all throughly enjoyed this tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. By the end of the tour we were all stuffed with all the different tasters we were given by the various shops we visited. We all gave it 9 out 10. Missed out on the extra point only because of the weather - cold and very wet.

Felt more like a New Yorker than as a tourist....Tasty, Fun and another way to explore the City.

Heather was fun and easy-going. She knew a lot, was quippy and honest and even handled a free-loader tag-along with class. Restaurants were great, all food was fabulously tasty though I would have liked to try non-italian food in the area maybe on cornelius street. Will do another burough food tour next time we're in nyc.
