If you only make one excursion in New York make it this one. Great value, great food, great fun - and a great guide to some streets you'll find yourself returning to. Perfectly pitched and just the right pace. I can't praise it enough...a great concept that delivers.

the guide was really enthusiastic. She was half of the experience for us. it all was like a show better than Broadway theaters.

All of the restaurants/shops were all in the indoor Chelsea Market. I don't think this is represntative of a neighborhood sampling. However, tour was enjoyable, food was plentiful, and guide was pleasnt and knowledgable.

This was our second food tour with Zerve and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York. Kurt was an amazing guide - he was able to engage all members of the group, including our 16 yr old daughter. These tours are a wonderful way to learn about specific areas of New York and the foods that go along with them.

As one who has walked through and eaten in Greenwich village a number of times previously, this tour was incredibly informative and the food tasty and filling. Whether a first time visitor or one who has been in this area before I would heartily recommend this tour for anyone.

the balance of history, eating and learning about the village was just right. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys trying new things and great idea for teens as well.

A great combination of interesting stories, history and architecture education, and wonderful food from eclectic restaurants in Greenwich. There is more character in a few blocks of little Greenwich than most large cities! We loved the storytelling approach of the tour guide. The food was plentiful, varied and delicious, and it was neat to learn about each of the restaurants as well. I can't wait to go back.

We are frequent visitors to New York and this tour was by far the most fun we've had yet! Make sure you go hungry and wear good walking shoes. Heather was a great guide and even though the temperatures were brutal it was still the high point of our weekend. Next time we visit we will surely make a point of going back to Greenwich Village on our own.

Chelsea Market is a must go-to for anyone visiting NYC. The food in so many of the stores is unbelievably good and affordable. The tour is highly recommended to learn about the background of the establishments, the building itself, the people who made it happen, and about the Meat Packing and Chelsea areas in general. Since most of the tour is indoors, it's a good choice when the weather is bad.

Cindy was a great tour guide. Her input and personal references made the tour guite enjoyable. We enjoyed the tour so much we made it a point to return to the Village and made sure we took advantage of the great restaurants and shops.

This tour was truly unique. Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable about the Village and extremely entertaining. We all agreed that the food tastings were great. I would highly recommend this tour and we will be booking another soon.
