This was my second time doing the village tour. The first time was about 5 years ago - and I wanted to bring some new friends this time. We all loved it! It's the perfect mix of New York history, a little trivia and eating! I thought it was interesting to see that certain "stops" had been removed or added since my last tour. We had a "new" guide (different than my last village tour or my chelsea market tour) - and he was fabulous! (I'm sorry that I can't remember his name.) Just really spiced things up. I can't wait to do it AGAIN!

Kirt was our tour guide and he was funny, informative, very witty and needs his own show on either the Food Network or the History channel. I would recommend this tour to everyone. I learned about foods from New York, about architecture, recipes, local celebrities, jazz clubs, and the history of the area. Kirt knew a little about everything. He learned the names of everyone in the group, where we were from, and incorporated it into his non-stop commentary on the tour. It was delightful. And the food was delicious and plentiful. Take this tour. You won't be disappointed. |

The Greenwich food and cultural tour showed us the other side of NY that you usually don't see by yourself. That was our goal and the tour fullfilled it.
We would recommend this tour to everyone!
Kind regards,

Our guide was absolutely fantastic: enthusiastic, engaging, knowledgeable and welcoming. She seemed to enjoy herself as much as the group did! Fabulous tour, interesting information, wonderful food and an all around terrific experience! Highlight of our trip to NYC! |

My boyfriend and I live in New York City. We moved here this summer. We took the Greenwich Village tour a few months ago and loved that. The Meatpacking Tour was everything we expected and more. Great guide and fantastic food! Highly recommended! |

This was one of the best tours I have done of NYC! We were so pleased with the efficiency and energy of our guide; all our stops on the Food Tour were fun and informative, and we will certainly return to some of the recommended restuauants. |

I have done another Zerve food tour which was also great; This one was beyond our expectations! We had so much great food, fantastic information. Our tour guide, Cindy, was so helpful and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has an interest in New York City, its revitalized districts, and most importantly --food! The next time we are in NYC, I hope to do another one of these tours. It is very organized, reasonably priced, manageable size groupings. |

This was the second tour we took with Foods of NY, the first being the original Greenwich Village tour a few years ago. We enjoyed that one so much, we decided to go back for a "second helping," this time bringing an out-of-town guest. We all had a great time. Our guide, Susan, was friendly, informative and thoroughly professional. The tour runs like a Swiss watch, so precise that you have to stop and think about how much planning and organizing must go into it, to have each and every restaurant or shop prepared to greet and serve the group as soon as we arrive.
We are lifelong New Yorkers and my husband went to school at NYU, so we are no strangers to Greenwich Village, but New York is definitely a "work in progress" that can and should be visited with frequency. The food was varied, interesting, and of uniformly good quality. The Greenwich Village sights, from Washington Square Park to SoHo a real slice of New York. We even got to witness the finales of two different weddings - a little "extra" no one expected!
There are a lot of walking tours out there, but only one with FOOD; no contest! |

Myself and three of my girlfriends went on this tour on our recent visit to NYC, and we all agreed that is was definitely at the top of our list for things that we did. Our tour guide Diana was absolutely wonderful. When I got home from my trip I told my husband this was something we had to do as a couple on our next trip to NYC. I cannot think of enough good things to say about this tour so I will sum it up in one word. FANTASTIC! |

Our family of six (ages 22-59) bought tickets to this tour after it was recommended by a relative. We had a great tour guide (Barri) and the three hours flew by! We enjoyed everything we had to eat and learned so much about restaurants that we will certainly return to on future trips. The history of Greenwich Village was interesting and the pace of the trip and the people in the shops and restaurants all added to an amazing tour! We all enjoyed this thoroughly! We will be recommending this tour to anyone headed to New York! |

My husband and I LOVED this tour! As two amateur "foodies" who really like to eat at some of the more quaint places when we vacation....this tour taught us a little about the Village and we returned later that night to have dinner at one of Bert's suggestions and had the best Italian food this side of Italy! Bert was a lot of fun and a great storyteller! We enjoyed all of our tastings and left feeling like a part of the neighborhood. Highly recommend this tour. I'm formulating my list of favorite New York restaurants and can't wait to take another neighborhood food tour to add some more to my list!!! |

We are from Toronto, and we loved going on this food tour. Don't eat breakfast that morning, lot's of food! The guide was great and full of knowledge. Not only do you get to visit really nice food establishments but you also learn about history and architecture too. Great fun. |

We enjoyed the tour very much. We would never had known about the small restaurants and shops in the area if we were just on our own. Our guide was good and the food was also. We frequent NYC about twice a year and will indeed go back and try a restaurant that was on the tour. |
