Exposure to food, history, architecture and people in a tasty and flavoursome setting. Fantastic walkabout an interesting area and an insight into what you might want to do that night. |

Really enjoyed the tour. Darrell was insightful, fun and very energetic. Would have liked to do more tastings outside of Chelsea market in the meat packing district, but that would be my only regret. |

My boyfriend has been on this tour before and his aunt and unlce live in Greenwhich Village so he is very familiar with the area. He felt this tour was the best he's been on and informative and fun for even someone who is familiar with the area. For me, this was my first trip to NYC. I thought of a food tour as something that would be all about food but our tour guide gave us so many great stories about the neighborhood that this was a tour about so much more than food. Michael (our tour guide) obviously loves his neighborhood and was brilliant at conveying the reasons to us. It was also great to watch him interact with people in the neighborhood who he obviously knows. He was quite witty and charming. The food selections were also great. Thank you for a great time! I will definitely refer family and friends to the tour and tell them to specifically ask for Micheal. |

I greatly enjoyed this tour. Although I live in NYC, it's hard to know all of the wonderful restaurants it has to offer, especially if you don't live in that specific neighborhood. I loved finding out about new restaurants as well as the historical perspective. Thanks to tour guide Mike for making it a great tour. I can't wait to go to the other neighborhoods offered! |

Kurt our guide is great - friendly, enthusiastic, patience, informative (also historically attuned), passion for foods and cooking
A fantastic introduction to the Meatpacking district - the focal point being the Chelsea Market. A peep into some of the surrounding post restaurants is a brilliant part of the programme. We even sneaked into the Hog & Heifer bar! :-)
I ate my way to the end of the tour - a bit here and a bit there .... yummmmmm. chowders, mortadella, olives, pesto, cookies, coffee diary milk ... and those divine cupcakes!

As a recently relocated local, I found the tour to be a wonderful resource; I am planning on attending all the tours. The "golden nuggets" are great to reacquaint myself back to the City as well as for all the folks coming for a visit. Even my native NY family did not know all the anecdotal tidbits. Super thanks; great tour. |

Nothing but positive really and sprinkling the gourmet experience with historical and architectural anectodes made the tour very enjoyable.
The only problem was that for curious personalities there might perhaps not be enough time to go into exact details with the tour guide, especially if the group is large. |

My sisters and I met in New York City for a three day trip. We debated on whether or not to take the Food Tour because it was so cold. But we ended up taking it and we're so glad we did! Our tour guide, Cindy, was very knowledgeable, fun and entertaining. She really wanted us to learn about the Village and had a love and enthusiasm for the neighborhood. The food we sampled was incredible and we got so much more out of being there than if we'd tried to head there on our own. We felt we got a more intimate understanding of the neighborhood as well as experience a little of what it's like to live there. Take this tour, you will not regret it! |

My friend and I were visiting NYC for the first time and this was by far one of the highlights of our trip. Cindy, our tour guide, was amazing!! Love, love, love her!! We also had the pleasure of having Virginia on our tour as a guide in training and I thoroughly enjoyed her as well. The food was outstanding, the historical information was top-notch and we had many laughs in the process. It was good to have so many recommendations for superb eating destinations in the Greenwich Village area. Keep up the excellent work! |

We greatly recommend this tour to anyone visiting NY, as this will show a special part of the city in a different light. Our guide was very enthousiastic and shared some great stories with us. Tasting all food in Chelsea Market was fantastic and more than enough! Very much recommended! |

What better way to get to know the city than a walking tour...and with great food to top it all off. Todd was extremely friendly, the tour was very informative and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the food. I highly recommend the tour and we will definitely try one of the other tours next time we're back in NYC. |

Very iinteresing tour about food and history of the area. Our guide (Kirk? canadian, comedian) was great and very detail oriented with all participants. The tastings were very good and the portions pretty big. The whole history, food recipes and area tips were great. We want to do the other tours in the future. |
