| My sister and I decided to take my mother on the Greenwich Village Food and Cultural Tour as a gift for Mother's Day. My mom is from Staten Island and worked in the city for many years, and we live in NJ now, but we learned so much about the Village that we never knew before. Our guide, Mike, was wonderful, and his colorful personality and insight made the visit so special. The food was great, too, and there was plenty to fill us up. I highly recommend this tour! | ||||||

| I'd been wanting to take a food tour for a while and convinced my mother to join me one Sunday afternoon. We both had a blast. Our guide, Heather, was both very knowledgable and enthusiastic. The food spots we visited were not only good but places I haven't been before, and I've lived in the NYC for the past 3 years.. It exceeded all of my expectations. I have already suggested the tour to both my local and out of town friends. I can't wait to sign up for another one myself. | ||||||

| I've lived in NYC for 8 years and had friends coming in from out of town and thought, since the weather was nice, that a walking tour would be more fun than a bus tour. We had a blast and I actually learned a ton about the city. The food was good and it was more than a full meal! Had I known we were going to be stuffing our faces (and all for $40!), I wouldn't have eaten breakfast. Heather, our tour guide, was a delight and knew her stuff. I recommend it for any out of towners looking for a fun tour and for any New Yorkers looking for an inexpensive way to fill your Saturday afternoon (lunch included!). | ||||||

| I had the pleasure of going on this tour Aug. 2, 2008, and it was so worth it, our tour guide was fabulous. You get to try so many samples, and learn so much about the Greenwich neighborhood. My 16 yr old daughter really liked it as well. | ||||||

| Although tour should have started on time regardless of late-comers, it was a very enjoyable and informative tour. Cindy, our tour guide, may be the reason for the success of this tour. She's very knowledgeable and passionate about the city and shares updated and informative information. Loved the pictures of the past that she provided. Showed/discussed past, present and future which both my husband and I enjoyed. My two recommendations for this tour is to (1) include more hot and/or savoury tastings and (2) to at least touch on all the other places in chelsea market as we only discussed/visited half? For example, was curious about the coffee place that makes phenomenal coffee and have great reviews? In any case, really enjoyed and highly recommended!!! Thank you! | ||||||

| Great fun- enjoyed Cindy a lot. Warm and friendly and very knowledgeable. Great sense of humor too. I'm on a special diet and you took such good care of me. I didn't feel deprived one iota! | This tour is both an introduction to the history and future of the meat packing district, and an introduction to products from several merchants inside the Chelsea market. Because the products offered by these merchants are so outstanding, its far more than "getting you into the store". Without the tour, we would have had no idea where to start and we would not, on our own, have been able to replicate the experience. | ||||||

| I guess I was expecting more walking on this walking tour, especially on such a nice summer day. But it was almost all inside the Chelsea market. Food was excellent, though. Our tour guide seemed a little too focused on local celebrities and episodes of Sex and the City, which didn't interest me particularly. | ||||||

| My 18 and 20 year old daughers really enjoyed the tour. They were a little hesitant and not sure they'd like it, but it was a huge success. They discovered some places we hope to return for dinner on our next trip. | ||||||

| I went on this tour with my two teenage daughters. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was all delicious and it was great to learn about the history of the area. I would definately recommend the tour to my friends. | ||||||

| Decided to go at the last minute - everyone was out of town and I wanted to go out! Did not expect to learn anything new about Japanese tapas or sushi since I consider myself a foodophile - but I was wrong. Raheem was a fantastic tour guide and the restaurant we ate in was terrific. Had some new tastes, learned a lot and met some great people from out of town. We had so much fun that we all went out for the evening afterwards. I highly recommend this tour - really knowledgeable guide, fabulous food and sake, and lots of fun! | ||||||

| Learning was never this fun. Michael opened the past and present to us with stories, wit and wonderful food experiences that my family and I will not soon forget. Greenwich Village has never been this interesting. | ||||||

| What a delightful way to get to know a neighbourhood! We did the Greenwich Tour and were totally overwhelmed by the content of the tour. We feel so good about knowing a neighbourhood in NYC and were so comfortable with our new found knowledge that we came back twice - to shop and to go the the fabulous restaurant Palma!!! On our next visit to NYC we will definitely do another tour and have recommended it to our Canadian friends. Well done!!!!! | ||||||

| The tour guide did an excellent job providing information on the food we were sampling and culture of the area. The food was all very good. My favorite was the smoked mozarella cheese, sun dried tomatos and sausage. When we started our tour it was raining very hard, which put a bit of a damper on things, but by the end of the day the weather was lovely. One of the parties in our group came almost a half hour late and the tour guide accomodated them and took the whole group back to the first restaurant, this resulted in the whole tour running over the time limit. | ||||||
