This was a priceless tour
Fri, Apr 15, 05   11:00 AM sanville Female 70+ Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
My daughter and I loved the hours we spent with Mike. He taught us so much that we will use on future visits, was delightfully informative, enthusiastic, knowledgable, and paid constant personal attention to the members of the group. I wish there had been more opportuniities to sit down occasionally, but maybe that is because I am older than the average participant. I would now like to take the Chelsea tour.

The Guide (Jenny) was excellent. Tour was on 4/9/2005 11:00 AM) . She gave excellent reviews of various local shops and restaurants. She was friendly and informative on the history and archetectures of the area. We are planning to go back to Greenwich village this year and explore some more. The tour was recommended by my sister (Alice Garcia) and I loved it!!

We are "foodies" so this was a treat...even our 14 year old son whose normally only goes for hot dogs, hamburgers, mac and cheese, pizza, etc. loved the tour. I'd recommend it to all my friends and clients. Thanks again. Tom Linton Altour International Los Angeles

Even the teen vegetarian liked it

For the first time on a trip he wasn't disappointed with his "alternatives" and he thought it was a good tour. Normally he balks at walking tours but I told him he would be fed, so he agreed to go. We learned a lot and had a good time. Now we're looking for a local tour in California to visit.

Enlightened Tour
Sat, Mar 26, 05   11:00 AM arpante Female 60-69 Local Family With Children
As a New Yorker, one sometimes does not take advantage of sights and sounds of native city. This tour opened a new appreciation for the Village, its shops, streets, buildings, restaurants and history. Cannot wait to return and re-explore the many sights pointed out to us by our excellent tour guide, Cindy. Thank You.

This was a great family event. and worth every penny! We have raved about it to family and friends. It was very interesting and informative and capitaved the attention of my 11 year old as well as my 19 year old. My husband was even impressed. Our tour guide made the tour so interesting with his knowledge and enthusiam about the Village. The shop and restaurant owners we met were friendly and made the tour that much more special. If our travels take us to New York again we will surely spend our time in Greenwich. Thanks again Todd!

Wonderful insider's view of unique neighborhood!
Fri, Mar 25, 05   11:00 AM dekalo Female 40-49 Domestic Tourist(s) Family With Children
Our guide Todd was extremely well-informed and not at all shy about sharing his opinions. The corporate practice of paying for the tastings v. accepting freebies from vendors goes a long way to preserving the credibility of your recommendations. You completely satisfied the middle-aged history freak, the middle-aged world traveler, the 18-year-old Spring Breaker and the 13-year-old geek in our group. Eight thumbs up! Scoring tickets to "Spamalot" was an awfully close second, but you were the best part of our trip to NYC.

A must see in NYC
Sun, May 19  11:00 AM kikas321 Female Unspecified Local Couple on a Date
I have lived in New York all my life and it took 28 years and this tour to take me to Chelaea Market. It was a beautiful place to visit with lots to see and eat. It truly is a hidden gem in NYC. It's a great place to go on a rainy day and just walk around. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had lots to tell us about each stop we made. The food we tried was great and made us want to go back for more, which we did as soon as the tour was over. The meatpacking district was also nice especially the highline. It is a great new addition to the city.

A Very Fun and Different Way to Spend a Saturday!
Sat, May 18  12:00 PM Summer67 Female 40-49 Local Couple on a Date
We got this as a Christmas gift since the buyer knew we love anything to do with food and culture. Although we live about 45 minutes outisde Manhattan, we are not so familiar with Greenwich Village. What a great area for restaurants...very quaint! Barri had lots of facts to share and was a great tour guide. The Olive Co was our favorite stop. We had lots of fun and would definitely recommend this tour. The only negative was the high price for 2 glasses of red house wine...$24.00. Rafele's was lovely, but we think more people would have purchased the wine or presecco if it was a bit cheaper...say $7-$8/glass.

This tour was a great afternoon activity in NYC. Our guide, Susan, possessed native knowledge and it showed. It was also obvious that the tour was constantly looking for new restaurants to try. Restaurants of all types.

Amazing food and had the best time!
Sun, May 12  12:00 PM lmsmith1983 Female 20-29 Domestic Tourist(s) Couple on a Date
I've been to New York City multiple times and this food tour by far made it the best trip! Our tour guide Raheem(spelling?) was awesome and made us feel very comfortable. The group was about 16 or so and was nice not to have it so crowded with tons of other people. Couldn't have asked for a better time and better tour of The Village and Soho :) can't wait to try another one!
