The tour was super informative and fun. My friend and I believe that it was a highlight of our visit to NYC. We enjoyed learning about the neighborhood, experiencing the lifestyle and tasting the delicious foods of Chelsea Market. Even in the rain our tour guide Curt made the day an exciting, fast-paced and most pleasurable experience. |

This tour was so perfect. Very informative in an easy manner along with great food spread out along the way. We tasted many things that we would not probably just try on our own and loved all of it! We have so many great places to go back to that we wouldn't have known anything about. Not typical tourist stops but local establishments. The walk was very easy. Very well worth the money and time!! |

This is a great way to see NYC. Once you have done the typically touristy attractions this is the way to see "real" New York City. There was an array of different foods to be tasted from various neighborhood establishments. The cultural portion of the tour was facinating. I will highly recommend this to my friends traveling to the city.

My husband and I loved the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District tour. It combines two activies we enjoy - eating and learning about new areas. Even though I lived in New York for several years, it was still interesting to find out the history of some of these artisinal shops and get to taste the food. I would highly recommend this tour to others - both local and out-of-towners. |

Fun and interesting - Darryl was a great tour guide and made us aware of many architectural details (very cool), history, and future plans for the Chelsea market and surrounding neighborhood. Food was excellent and plentiful.

We can't decide. We did the Village walk in January with Curt and then the Meatpackers with Darrell. Both were wonderful and if that was only Darrells second tour he is going to be great. The information and of course the food was wonderful.

OUR GROUP LEADER WAS NOT ONLY HAD A VAST HISTORY OF THE GREENWICH VILLAGE AREA BUT HAD A WARM, OPEN PERSONALITY THAT LENDED A GREAT DEAL OF ENTHUSIASM FOR THE AREA TO BE ENJOYED AGAIN AND AGAIN ON SUBSEQUENT VISITS TO NEW YORK CITY. THE FOOD TASTING WAS MORE THAN AMPLE AND VARIED. I LOVED THE TOUR - THE GUIDE - EVERYTHING - EVEN ON A VERY HOT HUMID DAY. |

This tour is a great way to get an insight into NY off the general tourist tracks. Not only do you get to taste mouthwatering delicacies from all over the world, but what I really enjoyed where the stories wound into our tour, the little detours into pubs and restaurants of which I have tested several afterwards - you would never come across them by accident - together with friends, and we had a great time! |

We were interested in both the food and the history of The Village. We got a great dose of both. The guide was great and really appeared to love what he was doing and certainly was not just going through the motions. |

As a native New Yorker who has not lived there for forty years, I thoroughly enjoyed this informative tour of the Village along with the samples from local restaurants. It was a great value for the money and all the food was terrific. Great idea to pass out water and a napkin. I would also give folks a packaged wet cloth for the end of the tour since by then, you are really feeling sticky.
Because of this tour, I will recommend a trip to the village to my children and plan on having dinner there the next time I am in town. If you want to attract some older adults, some sitting time is recommended. I did see some park benches.
