I participated in this tour with my adult daughter on our third spring break trip to NYC. It sounded perfect--a chance to revisit Greenwich Village and sample some good food. I was amazed at the food selections! I expected little tastes of things as we meandered the streets, but we got a really substantial amount of food--all of it very good--from pizza slices to cannoli to kabobs and pastries. We especially enjoyed the sit-down cheese tasting. It's a good thing we did plenty of walking to work some of the calories off.
Our guide, Curt, was wonderful! He was funny, charming, knowledgeable and accommodating. He took us into some great little places (like Chumley's) and had plenty of interesting stories to tell.
I'm already e-mailing friends to tell them of this tour. I highly recommend it! |

it's fun and interest to know the area and different kind of food, eventhough we had heard that your recommendation are not the best in the area, but we did enjoy the tour. |

What a great way to spend 3 hours in NY! The food was good, but the fun to me was hearing the stories behind the different places we visited. Who knew I'd learn the origin of pizza on a NY street? I got to try my first canoli and heard about John's Pizzeria and how they are the ony pizzeria who can use a coal fired oven. Now I've been to many bars in my time, but the speak-easy was the highlight of the tour for me. A great way to spend the day, I highly recommend this tour.
Greenwich Village is such an interesting place on its own, but our tour guide Mike made the day. Mike knew everyone he saw, he said hello by name, asked about their kids and spouses, he even paused to pet a dog whom he knew by name. I can't speak to the other tour guides, but Mike was awesome! |

The tour included more than just the incredible food, we were allowed into some secret village places--a 1802 framhouse hidden behind a restaurant, a still in operation speakeasy, coal filled basement at John's pizza, etc. We learned a lot and actually went to dinner in the village the next night from the list they provided and had our best meal in NYC Le Gigot) Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who loves cultural history and good (and some unique) foods. |

We loved the tour! We did the tour our first full day in NYC and went back to Greenwich to some of the places we saw and sampled three more times that week. The food sampling was varied and good, you definitely ended up comfortably full after the tour. Jenny was our tour guide and did a great job. |

Hi!
I've done the village tour as well. The food tastings on both tours are fantastic. I enjoy the diversity of selections, etc. However, the village tour is more interesting, in my opinion. I like travelling through the streets learning about the history of the village. It's like a little mysterious path through greenwich. The meatpacking one is a little more stationary, and a little less appealing. However, the guides on both tours were fantastic. Keep up the good work. I'll continue bringing visitors out for food tours all the time! |

My husband and I have been to NYC several times. We picked up a brochure in our hotel lobby on our last trip. We arranged for this food tour on this trip and were pleased with our choice. We learned so much more than we had hoped. We plan on arranging another food tour on our next trip. We passed the info on to friends who are coming to NYC. Thanks for the learning experience!! |

We all thoughly enjoyed this tour, the food was an adventure and delicious, also the points of interest described by the quide as we ambled along were interesting and informative.
I would highly recommend this activity, it appeals to all ages. My fifteen year old grandaughter was with us and enjoyed the event as much as my daughter and I.
I can't wait to return to New York and visit Greenwich Village again and wander back to all the places we discovered on the tour. It was an awesome three hours. |

This tour included some the best places to eat and shop in the Village, incuding one-of-a-kind shops, delis, bakeries, and up scale restuarants. Our guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We visit the Village several times a year, and this tour has provided us with ideas for our next several visits. We also really enjoyed the historical and architectural aspects of the tour. |
