food was tasty, not very much of it, guide seemed less than enthusiastic. patter was partly interesting, partly repetitive filler. no attempt at human connection to any of the 16 participants in the tour.

Great tour, great food. The samples were extremely generous and definitely gave a great sampling of the diverse foods in the Market. And our guide was excellent.

I booked this tour for a school project with my group (we're doing NYC foods). None of us were sure if the tour would be helpful, considering we are doing a thesis project, not a report. To our surprise, the tour was incredibly helpful and has inspired us. In addition, it was a complete blast! The tour guide was a riot and had lots of information, the food was TERRIFIC, and it was overall just a good time. I highly recomend this to people of all ages, whether they be students, tourists, food consesours, or people just looking for a good time. Two thumbs up!!!

Our guide, Christian, was super. He was energetic, informative ,and lots of fun. Our group had a wonderful time on the tour.

The tour was fun, informative and delicious.....I would recommend this for friends, couples and singles looking for great intimate inside tips while visiting the west village area. We went back to several of the places we toured and were not disappointed. This was my second tour and I would do it again. Our guide Christian was a natural! Kate

I love learning about new cities and trying different types of food...but our tour guide (wonderful and informative as he was) just talked WAY too much. A couple of places he spent over 20 minutes talking about people in the neighborhood, or a burned down brothel. Our legs would ache from standing and there was no place to sit. The food was good, but he really needs to cut out about half of the information, it was just not necessary to over explain things.

I really really enjoyed this tour. Even though I've been to NYC more than a dozen times, I learned so much about the places I had been to before. I loved the intimacy of the small group experience. Our tour guide was delightful, abundantly informative, and an absolute pleasure to listen to. The food was varied and local and was enhanced by the stories of the vendors and their history. The food was delicious and a real deal for the price of the tour. The informal small group and flexibility and knowledge of the tour guide made me want the experience to never end. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone who loves food and everything there is to know about the people who make it and the history of their lives. I especially liked hearing the personal stories of the neighborhood. I'd take this tour all over again tomorrow if I could.

Our tour guide, Michael was outstanding, I throughly enjoyed the tour, while learning a lot of history of the Village. I would suggest , you provide a small glass of wine with the wonderful cheese, if possible and a small glass of milk with the delicious chocolate chip cookie. I will recommend this tour to my friends.

New York City is obviously the one of the greatest places in the world, but after a few days of the crowds and lines---the Greenwich Village walking tour offered a welcomed respite. No lines--a small, friendly group of peers---and a knowledgeable, amiable guide made this a perfect change of pace before we dove back into the fantastic frenzy of the Big Apple!

This was a great tour. The guide was knowledgeable about the area. It is a great way to get to know Greenwich Village. I would feel comfortable returning to the Village on my own for a day. I would recommend this tour to my friends who like history and different foods.

Loved the portions (large enough for the greediest of tourists), the venues and especially the guides whose informal but knowledgeable approach really made the tours. Id like to see more districts made available for these tours if the company can find more individuals with local knowledge and interests to lead them. If so I think FoodTours attention to detail will take them far...

We did a few guided tours while in New York & our Greenwich Village Food Tour guide (Cindy) was by far the best - enthusiastic, friendly and informative. Really enjoyed all the food we sampled but were also interested in the background details on the area and the places we went to along the way.

cindy was informative energetic and lots of fun to be around . please keep her around. wedid not want the tour to end. we recommend this for locals too.........thanks sandra thomas and frank capello

My cousin (77) and I (66) just loved the tour. When you thought the food couldn't get any better - it did! The local history was very interesting (especially since we both live within 50 miles of the City). We had no idea that there was so much history. We enjoyed it so much that we plan on coming back and staying in the Village, rather than midtown, so we can enjoy all the Village has to offer. The tour guide, Cindy, was the BEST! She made every minute of the tour enjoyable. It was amazing how many people she knew along the route. She has personality plus and we hope we are lucky enough to have her for our guide when we return. Thanks for a great time.
