My mother, sister, and I are all from Long Island and have come into the Village many times throughout the years. However, it was such an eye-opening experience for us all to tour through the streets with someone who knew so much about the history and the culture. The food stops along the way were very well chosen and provided some absolutely delicious samplings. For as long as our guide would have wanted to go on, we would have been thrilled to listen. |

We visited NYC during the recent transit strike. Since cabs were difficult to obtain we ended up walking from Times Square to the Greenwich Village area to take our 3 hour tour ( in 18° wind chill). Our family (Mom, Dad, and girls ages 18 & 14) all agree that the tour was well worth the walk.
Great food, stories, history, current info., and amazing quips by our tour guide.
We would recommend again to anyone. |

Good inside information into the Italian and Landmark area of Greenwich Village. The tour whet my appetite for an unexplored area of New York. Can't wait to get back to some of the places we visited and tasted wares from. I really enjoyed all the extra info too.. about the architecture and history of the area. |

Been to NYC numerous times and have taken other tours but this was a great way to really learn about a section of the city like Greenwich Village. The guide was knowledgeable, the information very useful and the food was great. This will help my family and everyone else I tell have a better time in NYC. Plan to take another tour next time I go. |

We had a great time! It was much more than a great food tour, learning about the history of the village was worth the price of admission. I have already recommended the tour to alot of my family and friends. Two thumbs up !!!! Our guide Mike was Great. |

How should you spend your day in NYC after 6 inches of wet snow just fell and is turning to slush? Why go on an outdoor food tour of course! And we did; not a single no show. We went in and out, around and about, and tried to work off all the delicious calories we placed into our mouths. We had Barri (that's with an i) to keep us moving which was no small feat, not because of the cold, but because we wanted to stop and shop, smell, and watch as the wonders of about 4 blocks unraveled in front of us. This is definately a not to be missed tour, but do yourself a favor . . . don't plan anything after it. Leave yourself a few hours to revisit your favorites. |

We had a great experience. Everything about it was wonderful from the food.. Greenwich Village history... to our tour guide, Cindy... alias Susie Smooze. Cindy is passionate about her love of the village and it spilled over to all of us on the tour. Next time we visit the city we are staying and eating in the village. I guess the best compliment was paid by my husband when he said, "I hit a home run," by making the arrangements to take the tour. Dress warmly for winter conditions. |

The tour was very well organized and adapted well to the cold weather. It was entertaining and the tour guide engaged everyone. The food was excellent and the vendors were very accommodating. This was a much easier tour for the younger and older members in our group; not as much walking as our other tour. We will definitely recommend this tour to others.
Also, the tour guide had a really cool jacket! |

My whole family enjoyed the tour tremendously. In all of the years that we have traveled to New York and hit the usual tourist attractions this the first time that we have actually taken a tour per se. We enjoyed the walk, the food and the tour guide was very entertaining as well as informative. Next time that we are in New York we plan to take another one of these walking tours.
I highly recommend this. |

Kurt was very knowledgeable and entertaining - in fact, very engaging! The tour did have a little too much walking for the younger and older in our group and the cold weather made it uncomfortable. The food was excellent, especially the cannoli! We would recommend this tour, given more opportunities to sit along the way. |

The tour was amazing! Our guide, Mike was the best! He was very knowledgable and interesting. The food was amazing and the cultural/history tour was great too! We even got to go inside an old farm house behind a restaurant, I never would have known existed! It was so much fun and I would definitely recommend this to anyone! |

We had a terrific time with Cindy. Our son and his wife moved to New York City four months ago. When we visit, we try to discover new parts of the city together. They did not know of Chelsea Market, it will now be a new favorite shopping and eating destination. We identified several restaurants we want to try in the future and loved learning the history of the meatpacking district. |
