Foods of New York Tours

I enjoyed the tour...a bit of history off the beaten path! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and humorous. This is especially good if you have been to Manhattan before and are looking for something different.

My 13 year old granddaughter and I very much enjoyed the food tour. She loved the history involved in touring the literary speakeasy along with all of the stories involved with the other buildings we saw. The food was enjoyable, but certainly secondary to everything that we learned.

The tour of Greenwich Village was great. You learn a lot about the area and get to know all of the good places to eat. We were provided plenty of food- definitely enough for lunch- and we got to see the apartment building from "friends." The best part was probably going into a "speak easy" that invented the phrase: "86 it" There is no possibly way we would have seen this place if it wasn't for the tour because it is not marked or advertised at all- it just looks like every other building. The information and the food were fabulous! If you are in visiting the city or if you are a local, take this tour to learn a lot and eat delicious food!

We had a great time. Our tour guide was wonderful and the food was fantastic. On my next visit to NYC, I will take their Chelsea Tour!

My daughter and I truly enjoyed the information and tastings in Greenwich Village. The historical information gave us a great insight into the area. Without the tour, walking through the village would have been like walking down another street.

The tour guide was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the entired tour and plan to take all of the culinary tours that you offer.

We have never ventured out on any sort of walking tour and were not sure what to expect. Booking through the web sight was easy and the information returned with the confirmation was very detailed in getting us where we needed to be at the right time. Our guide Cindy was great in keeping us together and getting us to interact with each other. She was the wealth of information and she kept the tour moving according to the time schedule. Of course, the best part about the tour was the food that we tasted at each stop. The background information regarding each stop and the history that was explained throughout the tour was so valuable. The biggest surprise was when Cindy guided us into Chumleys!!! We never would have found it on our own!! We can't wait to visit Greenwich Village on our annual NYC trip next year and try out all the new-found "gems" that were part of this wonderful tour!! The handout is PRICELESS. I was able to show my spouse around later with no problems. All the restaurants were excellent--not a bad bite to be had! Perfect to do on your own since the group was small and the tour leader, Cindy, was a great storyteller.

Well worth the money!! Kurt was wonderful & informative. The tour was a great mix of food, history & current topics. I loved finding all the "out of the way" places and have a few marked for my next trip!! The pace was great and the fact that we had wonderful weather didn't hurt. This was the highlight of my trip!

I own a Manhattan timeshare and come to NY once or twice a year. We took the Greenwich Village tour last year. I love these tours because they take me out of my Timessquare comfort zone to explore other areas of the island. I loved this tour. The tour guide was great. I will return to the market.

Tour fell short of description and "tastings" overstated what was received at the food venues. Poor value.
