Kurt's clever comments, lively approach and quick step helped to make this tour a real winner. We loved the variety, the food, the history, and the humor. We ended up returning to Greenwich Village 2 more times just because it felt more comfortable, thanks to the great global view Kurt gave. A completely terrific 3 hours. I'd love to return and try your other tours, too. Thumbs up.

This is the second time that we have taken this tour, this time with a different guide, Cindy. It was just as interesting, informative and entertaining as previously. We visited a couple of different venues to the last time and were shown other places of interest that we were not visiting that day. Our Guide was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about her home area, this makes a lot of difference as they are in effect showing you around their own backyard. We returned to the Village the next night to eat at one of the venues visited and were not disappointed with the meal that we had. It was just as fantastic as we had been promised it would be. This is a tour NOT to be missed when visiting New York City. It introduces the tourist to an area, which they may well visit by themselves, but gives them an insight into the culture and the wonderful places to eat and buy food that is so good as well as being totally div erse in nature. We fully recommend this tour to everyone of all ages.

It was fantastic! Cindy was extremly knowledgable, witty and just a lot of fun- I was there with my daughter (age 24) and she throughly enjoyed it- it was the first thing we told people about when we return. PS- I was sorry I didn't take notes while Cindy was talking- we went back a couple of days after the tour and ate and shopped . Little Havana, Joe's Pizza , Rocco's Pastry and Murray's-Bloody Mary at Chumley's- others too! Yes, I would highly recommend this tour- next time we are taking the Garment District tour and will ask for Cindy as our guide. Thanks!!

We absolutely loved this tour. It was a highlight of our trip. The guide was witty and knowledgeable about the neighborhood. The three hours flew by. The merchants and food samples were excellent. Loved the pastries, the risotto balls, and the Turkish kebab ! Loved Murray's and Faicco's ! We went back to the neighborhood the next day and bought from several of the merchants again. We had lunch in one of the restaurants we'd visited. Thanks for a terrific experience !

We had so much fun on the tour. The tour leader, Kurt, was great . Also, the people in the tour were delightful. I look forward to doing another tour the next time I'm in NYC. Thanks for the yummy food and useful information.

We thoroughly enjoyed the upbeat personality of our guide as well as the great nibbles along the way. The day was drizzly and cold so it turned out to be the perfect tour as most of it was indoors. Thanks for a great afternoon!

Superb tour for foodies - lots of great produce sampled in Chelsea market. Have also done the Greenwich tour, previously. Think Chelsea market is better for 'foodies' with Greenwich more for seeing more of New York.

Barry was an excellent tour guide, covering,with a nice amount of detail, but not too much, many aspects of Greenwich Village--history, architecture, an overview of the current "feel" of the neighborhood, and, of course, the food! I would like to emphasize how much we enjoyed this multi-faceted aspect of the tour--it wasn't "just" the food, though that was a real treat! We thoroughly enjoyed getting more familiar with Greenwich Village. It's hard to imagine someone who wouldn't get a lot out of this tour.

Our guide Barry made the tour fun with her informative comments and questions to the group members. The historical part of the tour really held my interest, and the places we stopped for tastings had food ready for us pretty much right away. Everything was delicious. This was my very first tour ever, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Later in the afternoon, I headed out again to some of the places we were taken to earlier. Many thanks for a great experience. My daughter and I found the tour to be both fun and informative. We really enjoyed learning about the history and culture of this unique neighborhood. The food was great, and we have already visited several of the businesses we learned about on the tour. Our guide did a super job, and really made the outing enjoyable.

We were given more food than I expected (loved all your choices), tried some things I had never tasted before and appreciated it when our guide shared so much information about the area's history and give us specific details that made the buildings and people come alive. We had 12 people in our group and even though it worked, I would have liked to have been in a slightly smaller group - like 8 to 10 people. I am still sharing details about the tour with my friends and family. Hope to come on your tour during our next trip.
