The Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour exceeded my expectations. The tour guide Bari was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Bari made the tour fun and interesting. I would highly recommend the tour to anyone, without reservation. The only thing that could've made the tour even better would've been going behind-the-scenes into a NYC restaurant's kitchen to watch the chefs at work for a few minutes, and perhaps asking them a couple of culinary questions.

This was my second time taking this tour - I like to take special visitors because it is refreshingly original. Besides being a great building from an historical perspective, what they have done with it is just great. Top it off with tasty bites from many of the purveyors, and noshing becomes entertainment. Our tour guide Cindy is full of knowledge and enthusiasm and is a huge part of what makes it great. The meatpacking district is trendy and quickly changing, so see it while you can!

My wife and I totally enjoyed the Chelsea Market tour. Not only did we experience many new and exciting shops, but we sampled some of the best food in town. The lobster bisque was the best we had ever had and the salt sampling was unique. We also experienced a double baked chocolate croissant that was fantastic!!!!! The food sampling alone was worth the fee. The best part of the tour, however, was our tour guide Cindy!!!!! This wonderful, vivacious and personable lady made the whole experience FUN!!!! She filled us with soooo much history about the market and the surrounding area that the three hours went by too quickly. Instead of being tired after our long walk we were energized by the experience and my wife and I continued to comment on the tour as we walked back to our hotel. If you haven't figured it out, this was a unique and phenomenal experience that we both loved. The next time we are in the City we plan to try and hookup with Cindy again and do the Greenwich Village tour. Who needs books, CDs or TVs when you can have Cindy????!!!!!

The Greenwich Village Food Tasting and Cultural Tour exceeded our expectations and was well worth the price of the ticket. The tour guide Michael had a wealth of information to share and was extremely pleasant he made the tour fun and extremely interesting. We would highly recommend the tour to anyone, without reservation and are looking forward to dinning in the restaruants on the tour.

Cindy was the reason this tour was so good. She talked about what is happening now around Chelsea Market area and the places we were seeing in addition to talking about the history of the area. She was great!

There is so much to learn and when you have a guide who both knows the material and can communicate with passion and enthusiasm you have the paerfect day. We got that!

I enthusiastically recommend this tour! The food was wonderful, the guide fun & informative, and the neighborhood extremely charming. I can't wait to visit the restaurants whose food we sampled!

I took the Greenwich tour a few years back and really enjoyed it, so I figured I'd try this one. It was fantastic! The guide was knowlegeable and entertaining. THe chosen vendors were very good, the area was perfect. I thought the tour was definitely worth the ticket price- food servings were generous- I like the Lobster bisque! Thank you!

what a fantastic tour - our tour guide was very informative - he new the area and its history and was able to keep us entertained and informed - the food stops were a great sample of the shops in the area - we will be back for the greenwich tour..

We enjoyed everything about the experience. Although the day was cold it was well paced with opportunities to taste and warm up indoors. We learned a lot about both the history and architecture of the Village and thoroughly enjoyed all of the tasting experiences.

I have never had so much fun on an organized tour. Michael, the tour guide, was a Greenwich Village local who not only knew his neighborhood, but was in love with it. His ease with the various shop owners and the stories he recounted were amazing at allowing newcomers feel as if there were entering a special Greenwich Village and not a touristy one. The food was AMAZING and filling. I would highly recommend this tour to individuals traveling to New York. It's a great way to have a good lunch, learn about Greenwich Village, and meet new people.

My mother and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide was amazing. The food was amazing. We learned so much more than we thought we would. This tour is a great way to emerse yourself into the culture and experience the food the way a local would. I would suggest everyone who visits New York to go on it. It was wonderful.
