The tour was very informative, seeing many different vendors and different foods. Would liked to see something like the Food Network set.. All the tastings were great, didn't go away hungry. |

We loved the Market Tour with all the fabulous tastings and, best of all, our tour guide was a hoot. He instantly remembered everyone's name and talked non stop about NY history, food, travel, good places to eat and much more. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who isn't familiar with the area and to anyone who wants to have a fun three hours. |

The tour was something my wife and I have continued to rave about. We will strongly recommend this tour to anyone we speak to that is planning a trip to New York. The tour guide was very informative of the foods, neighborhood and the coultures in the area. We had a fantastic time. |

Marie was a fantastic guide whose knowledge of the area and it's restaraunts and stores added to our experience. As a former local of Greenwich Village, Marie clearly knew what she was talking about and was able to offer excellent tips on eating and the history of the place. It was our first day of touring NYC after arriving the night before and this was a wonderful introduction to our immediate neighbourhood and it certainly made us feel more comfortable. Well done Marie and we're happy to recommend this tour to friends of ours who are visiting NYC in the next 6 months.
Cheers, Brendan & Linda |

Annie promised us a great tour and that is exactly what we got. She has the greatest mix of food expertise, knowledge of the city, and enthusiasm. Enough food samplings to subsitute for lunch, and who can object to starting the tour with a chocolate cupcake?
Annie is the greatest! This was our 4th tour with Foods of New York so we know of which we speak. |

I have now done the Central Village/Soho tour and the Nolita tour. I could not give higher praise to these tours and their guides. It is good for couples, groups of friends or tourists just trying to get a grip on what NYC is all about. The food is amazing and it is way more than just a food tour...
The guides are very knowledge about the history of the area, art and culture. They do their homework and it is a very good time. |

I highly recommend the Greenwich Village Tour for both visitors and New Yorkers alike. I have been going to school in New York for four years and I learned more about the city in this three hour tour than those four years combined. Our tour guide Kurt was very enjoyable and knowledgeable. I was also delighted by the balance of food and walking. Just when I thought I had eaten too much, we got to walk it off on the way to the next location. And the food was spectacular. A Must-Do NYC tour! |

Can't think of a better way to tour a neighborhood in NYC than to have discussions of history and culture interspersed with delightful food tastings at some of the city's best eating establishments. After the tour, I better understand why New Yorker's take such pride in their culture of food. Cindy was an enthusiastic guide who sincerely tried to make sure everyone on the tour had a first rate experience. My next trip to New York will mandate another Foods of New York tour. |

Fabulous tour with history and food samples. A new tour and we actually enjoyed it slightly more than the Chelsea Market Tour we took some years ago. Our guide..... "ANNIE" was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and entertaining the whole time........... right down to a farewell song on the street corner.
Wide range of food varieties and also included the New York Shaving Company which is an interesting venture.
We very much enjoyed this and it was a great way to spend 3 hours on a Sunday when it wasn't crowded in the city.
Highly recommend this or any other tours this company offers. Very worthwhile and good value for the cost. |
