It was a great tour. I had a newly broken ankle and Sephra totally watched out for me and made sure it was a great experience in my miserable condition! If a tour guide can do that for you, you can be sure this tour will exceed your expectations! This tour has it all : great food, great fun, just the right amount of everything!

More savoury tastings, rather than sweet, otherwise great.

Guide (Darrell) made the day especially enjoyable. Catch him before his acting career takes off! Interesting history and excellent tastings. Perfectly suited for our group of eight, since one gent is somewhat limited in how much walking he can do.

We enjoyed a small tour of 6 people on a freezing Dec day. The guide was friendly & informative and we visited two of the sites on our own over the following days. We had dinner at the Ethiopian restaurant & a falafel for lunch from MacDougall St. We had previously walked by these venues without realising how good they were. We would highly recommend the tour. I took the tour as an individual since my husband was in town for business and couldn't come with me. It was wonderful - I got to see a historic part of the city, taste some great food, and meet other enthusiastic foodies on the tour. Our guide, Diane, was everything you would hope a guide to be - knowledgeable, fun, warm, and she kept us moving at a good pace. I can't wait to try another tour the next time we visit!

Our group leader was very friendly and inclusive of the 13 tour members. She made the (very cold) three hours pass quickly. And she seemed to know all the restaurant owners and staff, which gave a level of trust. Each of the tastings was very good -- especially the canolis at Rocco's Pastry Shop. I liked learning a bit of history about some of the buildings, too. Great fun and very informative. I'd recommend this not just for out-of-town visitors, but locals, as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Cindy was our guide and she made the experience memorable and really good fun. She was knowledgable, funny and most of all, very enthusiastic about the area. Especially enjoyed the mix of architecture and history to break up the food tastngs! Loved the visit to Chumleys. We cancelled our dinner reservations that night and headed back down to the Village. We have already recommended it to our friends.

This is a great tour! Our guide Barri was fantastic and very knowledgable about the food and the history of the Greenwich Village area. The food was carefully chosen as the best examples in the Village. You will also get a lot of valuable information about restaurants and food shops to visit again later. Finally, there are discount coupons for some businesses as well! Overall this was very valuable - do it early in your time in NY so you know where to go back to later.

A brilliant 3 hours, full of interest and great food. The guide was informative and enthusiastic. Can't recommend this too highly. You will go away with a determination to revisit Greenwich and Soho, and to try out the restaurants and food shops you sample. You might also get to meet Abdul Zahir Batin, a jazz drummer of legendary status. While we were waiting for the tour to start, he came up to us and offered to sell the CD of his work (we bought two!). Interesting guy, interesting place!

Our tour was steeped with historical facts and culinary delights. I would highly recommend this to anyone both local, like myself, our visitors to the city.

This tour was informative and had a nice variety of food choices. Our group was small and felt more personal. Our guide was friendly and full of facts about the market and surrounding areas. I would have loved to visit the whole city with her! We had a wonderful time.

Our tour guide was Barri. She was extremely knowledgeable and thorough about the restaurants, food establishments, and history of the Village. She was very articulate and clear in her presentation and had scads of information. The food samples were excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was worth every penny and I highly recommend it to everyone. I'd do it again.
