Foods of New York Tours

The food tour was one of our favorite things about this trip. We'd already done the main touristy atractions and were looking for something different. The food was great and we both really enjoyed the insider track on the history and nuances of the village. Two thumbs thumbs up for the tour and our tour guide, Eric. Thanks!

This was a fun little tour of a neighborhood that is difficult to navigate. The food and restaurant recommendations were excellent. However, I felt that they were advertising rather than giving a tour. The guide was enthusiastic and got people talking to one another, but the historical information provided was vague, incomplete and often wrong. If you're looking for a fun afternoon of wandering, this is a good tour. But if you want to see the historical sites and learn about the neighborhood, this is not the way.

Sarita, our tour guide, was great, imagine her first time, no one knew. The tour was above our expectations. We have already recommended it to other friends who then took the tour days after we did. Thanks again for a great time.

The Chelsea Market tour is the second tour that we have taken with this group. We took the West Village tour two years ago and enjoyed it so much we decided to try another. We were fortunate to have Todd as our tour guide again. His knowledge of the area and sense of humor makes for a fun and interesting few hours. We have returned to both areas to shop and eat. I would highly recommend either of these tours.

I would recommend this tour to everyone. Todd did a wonderful job! We learned so much about an area that we had not yet seen. We came back several days later and ate at one of his recommended restaurants. We have taken the Greenwich Food tour and would like to do another one next year if something new became available.

Even though it was a very rainy day, the tour was a lot of fun. Casual enough not to bore the kids, and informative enough to engage the adults, Rory did a terrific job. I do recommend that if you have walking difficulties you not take the tour. It doesn't cover a huge amount of walking, but it is a lot of standing. That is not a fault of the tour, however, just of the intelligence (sorry, sarcasm alert!) of the touree.....

We thoroughly enjoyed it. The guide, Todd, was super. We wish you had more tours, escpecially with the history and architecture. The food wasn't too shabby either.

Absolutely fabulous! We had such a great time on our Greenwich Village tour we went back that night to eat at one of the recommended restaurants. With all the food served and the tips on where to dine the price of the tour was more than worth the money spent.

Guide was good, food variety was amazing, wonderful weather on a warm June day.

We both thouroughly enjoyed the tour, the history, sights and tastes of the area. We plan to go back to the area on our own the next time we are in NYC. We have already recommended the tour to others. The guide was excellent. I would have checked "excellent" but the computer would not accept the checkmark!!

Of all the things or family of 6 did and saw while visiting New York City..........this was our hands down favorite ! Jenny, our tour guide, made an already interesting and fun walking and eating experience even better with her enthusiasm and bubbly personailty ! We would take this tour again and would definitely recommend it to friends as a " must do" !
