Foods of New York Tours

This was my second time to do the Greenwhich food tour and it was an absolute blast. Sephra was our tour guide and I highly recommend her tour. She was hysterical---and had a great deal of knowledge about the area and local restaurants. She not only gave us a great tour experience but also gave wonderful recommendations for other things to do around the city. We were stuffed after eating the pizza, cannoli, olive oil/bread, egglant parmesan, mac and cheese, chocolate chip cookie, rice balls, salami and cheese. Everything we tasted was delicious. I left the tour with a greater knowledge of what Greenwich has to offer. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique, entertaining, educational, and delicious experience in New York City !

We spent a pleasant three hours touring SOHO. there were about 12 people in the group, small enough to engage in different conversions. It was a thoughtful tour with a delightful guide. She was very knowledgeable and patient with everyone's questions. the food tasting was excellent with a variety of tastes ending with a great chocolate tart. 'We highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in history and trying different foods. The three hours flew by!

The best tour ever. Whatever you do in New York, make sure this is one of them. Simply unbelievable and fantastic value for money. The tour guide Annie is incredible, knowledgeable and likeable. It is not just the amazing food you get to eat, but the way Annie molds the district's food into the history of the region, including anecdotes and secrets of New York. You couldn't spend a better 4 hours in New York.

Great fun had by all, thanks to our tour guide Kirk and his enthusiasm and amazing talents. This was clearly the highlight of our group's NYC mini-vacation. We had heard about Chelsea Markets, but this was our first time to visit it. On our own, we would have had only a tiny fraction of the experience it offers.

Our guide, Marie, shared her love and passion for Greenwich with the group. Her knowledge of the history, the families, the restaurants and the culture of Greenwich was impressive and contagious. The tour was well organized and thought out. The tastings were delicious and adequate. We were lucky enough to have a star siting when Vanessa Redgrave arrived at the stage door and was gracious enough to talk with us. It was a lovely and enjoyable 3 hours and we will book additional tours with this group on our next visit. Book early as they do sell out.

Thoroughly enjoyed our food tour of Greenwich Village! Our guide, Sephrah, was entertaining, knowledgeable and humorous. Food was great, nice variety! Highly recommend the tour and Sephrah!

Our tour guide, Sephrah, was outstanding. She was very entertaining. She gave great information about the area and could be a stand-up comedian. The food was very good, especially at Rafele's and the Home Restaurant. The canolli at Rocco's was the best ever. I would highly recommend to anyone to sign-up for the tour. We felt like we had a history lesson, with delicious food at a comedy club. She deserves a raise!

Food is good, guide is entertaining and the area is charming. What more can you ask for? We ended up going back to some of the area's recommended restaurants for dinner, and they were every bit as fantastic as the tour gave an impression of. Would recommend this to anyone who enjoys quality food.

My husband and I had a few hours to kill in NYC before an outbound flight and we opted to take the food and cultural tour of Greenwich Village. Our tour guide was extremely competent and knowledgeable! She did a fantastic job of keeping everyone on track and moving as intended. From the traditional New York Pizza to the risotto balls, cookies, and cheese. Top notch!

I took my wife on her birthday on the Greenwich village tour. It was a cloudy cold day but it didn't matter. The food was great, the tour guide was informative and funny and the tour was a full 3 hours. It really is a great experience regardless if you live in the city or come from the other side of the planet. I'm not big on group tours but it didn't have that feel, you were walking and learning ( not overly detailed ) and eating. What man, woman or child (at least teenager) wouldn't love that. I fully recommend the tour.

Great experience. Really nice host. He kept everyone entertained and made sure everyone was included. Wonderful food and new food experiences to enjoy. Interesting explainations of the food, areas and businesses we visited.

Our tour guide Susan was from the Village. Her explanations of the area's history as well as some of her own personal experiences made the tour very enjoyable. A good tour guide is what makes a tour enjoyable and Susan was fantastic. She took us to some great eating places. The portions were larger than most of the other food tours we have been on. Even many of the foods we sampled had an interesting history. There is nothing more to say--Good food and a great tour guide (Susan) made the tour an exceptional value.
