Foods of New York Tours

My tour guide was Susan and she was very educated on the culture of area as well as the food. This tour provided such a variety of foods. As a matter of fact on a later tour I took, I spoke with someone else who tried foods on the SoHo tour she thought she didn't like and loved it. I did the same. I have difficulty hearing with background noise (traffic) and she did a great job speaking to the entire group and making sure all could hear. I would recommend this tour to anyone, but you must keep in mind you will not do a great deal of walking and you won't do a SoHo, it's really more village and hardly any of SoHo. Great tour!

This was a highlight of our trip. The food was excellent, the guide was friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed learning a little about a part of New York that we had never been. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

This was a fantastic tour, the guide was amazing, she was entertaining, enthusiastic and fun. She had great knowledge of the local area as well as the food. The food we tried was amazing and there was a good amount. This was one of my best experiences while I was in America.

I hope it says something that this is the first online review I've ever felt compelled to write. My mother and I just did the Greenwich Food Tour in June 2012. Our guide was Sephra, a native New Yorker who grew up in the Village and seemed to know 80% of the people on the street! She was so funny and entertaining that the entire group was always laughing. There were a few kids on the tour and she was hilarious with them as well. She was awfully knowledgeable about food (former culinary school graduate) and the neighbourhood, but it was her off-the-cuff humour and 'asides' that really made this tour the highlight of our visit to NYC. I highly recommend doing this tour (with Sephra--M, T, TH, F @ 11 am).

The food tasting was great but I really loved learning about the meat packing district, how it started, what happened to it and how New York City helped revitalize this area. Our tour guy was exceptionally knowlegeable and just a fun guy in general. We loved him!

The guide was pleasant, humorous and informative. The tour was interesting and enjoyable would recommend to others.

Tours through NYC by bus provide a general "look and feel". This tour on foot gave us as Europeans a unique possibility to zoom in on an interesting part and discover Greenwich in detail. The excellent and professional performance by the guide certainly contributed to our very positive experience. When we visit NYC in the future, we will most certainly book a tour in another part of the city.

We were pleasantly surprised by our tour. We didnt know what to expect and we loved it. The tour is a great way to learn about the history of a neighborhood. The food is like the frosting on the cake. We would do another tour of a different neighborhood the next time we are in town. Our tour guide, Carianne was great.

Our guide, Kerrianne, was awesome. She was very knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. The food was very good, the pace of the tour was well planned, all in all a wonderful experience. Can't wait for our next tour.

I was traveling alone doing business in NYC so I thought it was a great idea to spend my Sunday doing a food tour. I took the Chinatown food tour the day before. We stopped in about 8 different places and we had a variety of things to taste, including Joe's Pizza, olive oils, cookies, appetizers at Vinoteca... It was a very pleasant event and I highly recommend it. Heather was our tour guide and she did a great job!

This tour was fabulous! Marie was our tour guide and was exceptional. She shared a great many historical facts with us. Her enthusiasm for the area was exemplary. I HIGHLY recommend Marie and this tour. The food was outstanding, also!

I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and wants to explore the village. Marie was a great tour guide for the day.
