| I went on this tour with my husband and daughter. My daughter lives in NYC and we like to visit her as often as we can. I had been on the Greenwich Food Tour by my self and liked it so much that when planning this last trip both my husband and daughter wanted to go on a Food Tour. I chose the Meat Packing District, because it was winter and knew the majority of it would take place inside. As with the previous tour this one was so much fun. We started with a huge cookie that was amazing. Our guide was very good. You could tell she loved her job. These tours are certainly fun because of the food but you get so much history of the area, and in this case the building. Our guide had pictures that showed what the building and area once looked like. She was a lot of fun and after 3 hours of eating, talking and walking it felt like everyone on the tour had bonded. When it ended it seemed like we were saying good by to good friends. | ||||||

| My husband and I went on the tour on one of the coldest weekends. It was great! Our guide was very informative and the food was outstanding. I knew my sister would love it so I took her for her Bday the next week, one of the warmest we've had in months. She loved it even more than I. Suggestion: there are smaller crowds at the market on cold days so if you don't care pick the cold day for your tour. Just go, you'll love it. Hi to guides Darrel and Cindy who were fantastic! | ||||||

| Booked this off the good reviews we saw, and wanted something different with which to surprise my wife for a quick overnighter in the city. Kurt our guide was excellent... really worked hard to memorize everyones names and did a great job of explaining details and keeping the tour lively and fun, without being overbearing. Food was all very tasty and very much added up to a nice lunch... no need to eat anything in advance. Spent most of the time indoors, which made this a good tour for January (even though our day was lovely) | ||||||

| We absolutely loved the Greenwich Village food tour with Marie. The three hours flew by and we enjoyed every moment of food, history, architecture and socializing. The tour was very well organized and punctual. The stops they chose were a perfect variety of the area and Marie was a wonderful guide. We are from Chicago, and I am going to see if there are any food tours here. I'm telling everyone from native New Yorkers to tourists to take this tour! | ||||||

| My husband and I were in New York City for the weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Since the weather was predicted to be mild, we decided to sign up for the food tour of Greenwich Village. We had a fantastic time. Our leader, Marie, was knowledgeable and welcoming. She obviously loves the neighborhood and knows all the best places, and it was great to learn about them from her. The food offerings were delicious, and almost more than we could handle (even over the course of three hours). We went back at the end and bought a few things from several of the shops we visited -- all were wonderful. And we can't wait to go back and try out a few of the restaurants for dinner. The size of the group, 16, was completely manageable. The only reservation I would have concerns the weather -- I don't think it would have been nearly as enjoyable if the weather was colder or rainy. There is a lot of moving around (and standing and listening) outside. | ||||||

| My wife and I, and two friends attended the tour on 11/1/10..It was exceptional from start to finish.The enthusiasm of the guide , and the historical information he imparted was impressive. We learned a great deal about Greenwich village, and the food we tasted from about thirty different venues was exquisit. I would strongly recommend this tour. John Robson | ||||||

| I have lived in the US for 2 years, coming from England originally; this tour is worth every penny; you get an insight into the area, the local businesses and restaurants, get to try some amazing food, of which I want to return to each location; tour guide is amazingly knowledgeable on 'everything' and because of all the different foods you try you don't need to buy lunch afterwards ... I am recommending this tour to anyone that will listen. Enjoy. | ||||||

| Three Brits and one from Pennsylvania. Even though two of us had lived in NYC, we none of us knew the Village. Knowledgeable & personable guide introduced us to a variety of tastes, history and architecture. Kept us interested even on a very cold day. | ||||||

| We participated in the Greenwich Village Tour in early January. Our guide was a local resident of the area, and her passion for the neighborhood, its local merchants, and its historic significance was evident and contagious. The food tastings were plentiful, enough for a meal, but better than that, they were of exceptional quality and often unique to the restaurant or shop visited --- that allowed the group to have tasting experiences we likely would not have discovered on our own. The restaurant & shop owners/staff were all extremely accommodating --- we purchased items from some that day, and will absolutely return for additional dining & shopping experiences in this part of the city. The pace of the tour was good, the tour length was fine (even though it was chilly, the 3 hours actually seemed to fly by), and the variety kept everyone's interest. All in all, a terrific experience and an excellent value. We will take advantage of other tours this company offers. | ||||||
