Enjoyed the tour. Less walking than I had anticipated (that was good). Tour director was very knowledgeable about the area. |

Darryl provided a great combination of history, humor, and delicious food sampling. The weather perfect and the tour moved along at an appropriate pace. Participants were from around the world, and across the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a wonderful mix. |

We were given more food than we could eat. I wish I'd paced myself early. All the food was quite good and diverse. Our guide was Rashid, and he was full of information and enthusiastic. We learned lots about the neighborhood and discovered spots we would have never found without Rashid's guidance. We agreed we'd do another Foods of NY Tour next time we're in NY. |

Loved the food, loved the tour. Our guide, Curt, made this the high-light of our trip. He should have his own show on Comedy Central, what a hoot! |

Our group of 5 went on this tour with Kurt (our guide) and approx. 8 or 10 others. The walking was slow and enjoyable on a beautiful day and the places we stopped for food were fantastic--ones we would never have found on our own. We revisited a couple of the places when the tour was over and took notes so that we can visit more when we make our next visit. Kurt was great, giving us inside information and tips as well as a history of the area as we walked. This is my second tour with Foods of NY and a great way to spend 3 hours. Everyone in our group had a wonderful time! |

We had a wonderful time. The guide, Heather, was exceptionally enjoyable. Her knowledge of all the areas, history, restaurants and neighborhoods, made it a very interesting and worthwhile experience. I will definately tell others about the great time we had. |

We had an enthusiastic tour guide in Dianna. She had a lot of information that we would never have known if we had not gone on the tour. She told us the history, pointed out all kinds of unusual decorations and where they came from, and told us many stories about the food shops and how they came to be. It was a fabulous tour and highly recommend it. Three hours is probably too long for young children. I had my 4 grown daughters with me and we all loved it. |

We planned this tour as an early birthday present for my son's girlfriend because I had done the Chelsea Market tour in the Spring. There were 6 of us: 3 men and 3 women. The consensus was that it provided us with an overview of a portion of The Village including historic and notable locations of TV and movie sets. However, the tour was too concentrated on so few streets that we didn't really feel like we got to see very much. Additionally, the guys were really hungry at the end. What I heard from them is that they woudl have liked more food (perhaps a meal/entre) and then information about the area. Personally, I was less impressed with this tour than the Chelsea Market tour and thought we had a better selection of foods so at the end it seemed like we'd eaten lunch. Nonetheless, I would recommend it and will undoubtedly consider other tours. |

Four of us, three from Vancouver B.C. and one from Toronto, ON were on our once a year ladies getaway. We were all impressed with the knowledge, enthusiasm, organization and humour Dianna shared on our tour. Samples were ample and delicious, shopkeepers welcoming and proud. Dianne was passionate about her native city. Discussion afterwards led to only one suggestion for improvement, (and I made this suggestion doing this tour three years ago), that at the beginning of the tour, when she introduces herself to the group, she ask everyone to share their first name and where they are visiting from, a great conversational starter as we spend three hours walking, share food and learn neighbourhood history together. |
