Muy daughter and I did this tour at the last minute. We are "local" to NYC , but had never really explored the area. The tour was fun, interesting and gave us great insight into the history of the area, the architecture and the FOOD !
The tastings were great, we now have a list of wonderful places to revisit.
I plan on going back with my entire family.. 5 adult children 23-31.. and whoever else wants to come along. It was a wonderful day, despite the nasty, cold weather.
Our guide was very informative.
Have already recommended it to a number of people.. and we will be back ! |

From the moment the tour started and our convivial guide gave us our bottled water, I knew this was going to be an amazing culinary journey. Eating our way through the west village was a three hour experience I will not forget..you learn a great deal about the history of the area, recommendations on places to dine and soak in this special part of the city.. and the FOOD, oh my, you get to sample an array of delicious food from several establishments-its really worth the time and money and you will not be disappointed. Its an afternoon to saveur for many reasons. Plus all the walking that you do will make you less guilty on the indulgences! |

My husband and I had a wonderful time. We loved our guide (Marie) and everything about the tour: the tasty samples, the history and learning about the purveyors and restaurants of the West Village. We are recommending it to all our friends and will come back to visit the restaurants included on the itinerary. We also filled a shopping bag at Murray's Cheese shop which we are enjoying here at home. ALSO, this was our 20th wedding anniversary, and we were treated to a candle-lit cupcake at Milk & Cookies Bakery, a nice touch. Everything was delicious and the tour educative and entertaining. Thank you! |

My husband and I were on a long weekend trip to NYC and since I am a foodie we were recommended by friends to take one of these food tours. We did the Greenwich Village one where it focuses on the west village. We had tastings at 7 different places, a couple world famous pizza joints, Murray's Cheese Shop, Rocco's, a Japanese vegetarian place. It was all fantastic and we were full by the end. Our tour guide was Bari and she was fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable about the food and also the history of the neighbourhood and clearly a person who loves NYC and is eager to share it. We saw and learned things that we never would had we not taken the tour. The group is small enough (about 15) that it's very manageable and you don't ever feel crowded or hurried. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone and our next trip back will take one of the other tours that they offer! |

Our guide was amazing. You could tell that he honestly enjoyed what he was doing and also enjoyed the places that he toured with us. We actually returned for dinner at one of the restaurants (Monte's) and stopped by a club (Cafe Wha?) for drinks and entertainment. I would highly reccommend this tour. |

I would like to thank Barrie, hope i spelt her name correctly, with a great tour.
I have been to new york numerous times over the last few years., and haven,t spent a lot of time in greenwich village. I was back in greenwich on sunday after our tour on saturday enjoying one of the many fine dining establishments.
It was such a cool tour, going to places one would never get to visit or know about without going on such a tour.
I would highly recommend this tour, and in fact, will be going on the meat packing district tour next time if its not sold out.
thank you again, david gans

The Greenwich Village Food Tour was one of the most fun things I've done in New York recently. Loved it!! The food tastings were excellent. And our guide, Barri, provided loads of great information on the area, historical tidbits and many food recommendations that we will definitely check out. Highly recommend this tour! I'm eager to try all of the other neighborhood tours offered. |

This was such an unexpected addition of architecture tour to the food we tasted- It added real great dimension to the tour. The food was outstanding and filled us up. We used it as a basis for a meeting where we talked about how we could add excellence to our sales division.
The tour guide wa not very engaging with the group and seemed anoyed when someone asked a question- It did not dampen our expereince. |

This tour is the best way to experience the city - walking around, seeing the sites, and listening to interesting stories about the neighborhood and establishments - all while eating great food. Tour guide (Mr. Z) was tops! Can't wait to visit another part of the city with this food tour company. |

I went to Chelsea Market this summer. When I made the plans for the trip in February, I thought we should try something different since we had seen all of the "normal" tour stops - the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, Empire State Building, etc. The Culinary Tour is so much more than just walking through the Market. I learned so much about the building, the history of the neighborhood, and NYC history. I can't wait to take another Culinary Tour offered by this company. Cindy was an awesome tour guide. So vivacious and full of knowledge. I can't say enough positive about the tour and the tour guide. Everyone needs to go on one of these tours to learn about the blending of the flavors, the people, the culture, and the neighborhoods. It's truly a different side of touring NYC> And the food was delicious, too. |

My husband and I have been coming to NYC for weekend visits for years. This was our first time doing this kind of activity, it was great. A great look into an interesting classic New York neighborhood. Our tour guide was pitch perfect. A true New Yorker, funny and knew her food. I look forward to going on another tour at some point. |

My daughter and son live in Brooklyn. I was visiting from Minnesota and have been on one of the other Food and Culture tours so wanted to take my daughter on another since she had the day off work. This one was excellent!!!! The food picks were exceptional - we went back to one of them for dinner with the 3 more people 2 days later! We also returned to 2 more of the vendors to purchase foods as a result of the tour. The history of the central village was a huge draw for us as well. Raheem (sorry if I murdered the spelling!!!) was excellent - his knowledge and passion for the area were infectious and made for a tour that went way too fast! Thanks! I've been on many Zerve tours and look forward to returning again. |
