Foods of New York Tours

From someone who lives in New Jersey and goes to NYC often, this tour was great! Fun and informative and the tasty treats are excellent. It's also great for out of towners (not a stuffy bus tour) Next time I go to Greenwich Village, I have a ton of restaurants I want to try. My only suggestion is to where comfortable shoes because it is a 3 hour walking tour.

Great tour, very knowlegeable but I think it would have been better if she waited for the whole group(we were 14 plus another two people we didn't know)to get to the place we were going before starting to talk. Maybe encouraged everyone to get within hearing and seeing distance of the area being talked about and either talking louder or getting in a place where her voice projected better. Just a thought. Everyone assured me they had a wonderful time.

Great guide (Serina) knowledgeable and friendly. I have already recommended the tour. I will definitely take the Chelsea/Meatpacking tour and would be interested in other similar tours

Would recommend the tour. Were surprised by the amount of time spent inside Chelsea market. Would prefer to spend more time outside, but not sure how much more there is to see in the meat packing district. Leader was well-prepared and very interesting.

Tour guide was excellent, friendly, very charming; info, history was great. Food good. We would have liked an opportunity midway just to sit down a bit; it is harder for us to just stand about, although she paced it well. I am better at continually walking. Also, I guess we were not used to the hot weather. I would definitely recommend it.

Excellent tour and excellent tour guide. These are the best activities I've found in NYC.

A great way to learn more about Greenwich Village's culture, history, entertainment and food. I've done walking tours before but the food element added an additional insight into the Village. A nice experience!

My parents were very pleased with the tour as was I. We were amazed my how much food we tried and the generous portions. The tour guide was very informative and as friendly as someone you have known for a few years. I have and will continue to recommend this tour to other people. I look forward to trying other tours.

We loved it! OUr guide Michael was fabulous. We not only ate some great food, but learned so much about the history of Greenwich Village. I would highly reccommend it to anyone!

Had a great time ! The tour exceeded my expectations. Our guide had great enthusiasm and she was very knowledgeable. Our walk provided a nice balance of cultural, architectural and culinary related information. The tastings were well worth the price of admission . We even went back to one of the toured restaurants that night and had an excellent meal. Can't wait to try another tour on my next visit !

Susan did a great job and was a wonderful host. A few more food samples would have been nice. I returned 4 times to The Villiage afterwards and knew my way around thanks to the tour.
