Foods of New York Tours

This is the 3rd tour I've done with these folks and I have enjoyed every single one! I always learn something new about the neighborhood that I would have missed otherwise and get insights into new restaurants that I might not have tried otherwise. There is always plenty of yummy foods to taste and the guides are great. This is a really good value, I think, and I would definitely recommend it!

My husband and I had done 2 of your tours and recommended it to friends. We all went together and were not disappointed again. The tour guide Marie was great, friendly and outgoing. We loved the combination of history and tastings. We all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and plan to do another tour.

Food was great also.

If you want a chance to see the sights, taste the food ,and learn some history about Greenwich Village then this is the tour for you. Very informal but well organized to maximize the time spent. I really enjoyed it all.

My daughter and I went to New York for her 16th Birthday. Our guide Susan was wonderful and very helpful. A great way to get to know the city more intimately...and more amazing food that we could possible fit in our stomachs! Want to come back for more!! : )

I loved the history of the market. The tastings were great. The guide was very informed. She was fun and seemed to really enjoy her job. I would recommend you take the tour. A wonderful way to spend a few hours.

Susan was our guide, and she really knows the village. Lots of food on this tour, with two sit down stops, which is nice. The mortadella sandwich was terrific, as was the fresh mozzerella from Joe's Dairy. The other food was average. My wife loved the dessert stop. Always like hearing about architecture and local lore, urban myths. Also did the original village tour last year... liked that one better, but you ate more food on this tour.

Our guide was Sephrah! I had taken my friend for our 23rd birthday, the tour guide, was unbelievably awesome! The food was amazing and the whole experience was something I am looking forward to doing again.

This was my 3rd tour with the same company. This should really tell it all. Great way to get to know the Village. I discovered streets that I didn't know and many places intend to go back to. Food was good, Marie did a great job, my guest was very impressed and I had a great time.

I'm a local but was entertaining a colleague visiting from the West Coast who had never been to NYC. I thought this would be a fun way to get her to know one of the many neighborhoods of NYC and get some sustenance in the process. This tour far exceeded our expectations - the tour guide told me things even I didn't know, got great insight to some of the Federalist style homes and who lived in them over the centuries, and the food was amazing. I will absolutely go back to every establishment we visited (8 in total and sampled at each one of them) and I've told everyone I know about Food Tours of NY. Can't wait to tackle the other four tours they offer. No need for lunch after our tour. Totally worth every penny.

$26 for two aperitifs was a bit steep. Recommend you drop the bar from your walking/eating tour. Tips might improve.

Super guide, aimiable group, wonderful food. I've been coming to NY for years and still learned things. About half the price of a show and much more fun.
