Foods of New York Tours

Cindy our guide was terrific and incredibly knowledgeable. We sampled food from 8 different places and spent 3 solid hours learning the history of much of the Village. We saw streets and buildings we never would have noticed or appreciated on our own. Money and time well-spent!

I enjoyed the history involved with the tour. The knowledge of the guide, Marie is incredible. The combination of the food we ate and the history on how it evolved into the neighbor and landmark establishments they came from is just amazing. this is the second tour with Food Tours of New York and it just get better every time.

Can't say enough good things about the tour and our fabulous guide, Annie! This was my 5th Foods of NY tour and one of the best. The food was a wonderful variety of sweet and savory and Annie was the frosting on the cake. Delightful!

Annie was amazing! She was very kind, good with our children, and knowledgable. The tour was very good. The only complaint at all is that we were expecting more "little italy" type of tour and it was not. That is o.k. though; we enjoyed it anyway.

We just loved the tour. Thank you for our wonderful guide Diana (rhymes with banana!). She was amazing and we learnt so much about the markets and meat packing area and got to taste a wide variety of food. She was informative, helpful, organised and kept the tour moving !. We loved our tour of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District! The food was delicious and the tour guide, Diana, gave us so many fun facts of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour!!

We went with a group of eight with a plan to try something different. We had so much fun. Bert, our tour guide, was pleasant, funny and extremely knowledgable about all aspects of Chinese food and Chinatown. He could even provide recipes. The food was very good and we had more than enough to eat. Our entire group felt that this was well worth it. We are planning our next tour as I write this.

This tour was an incredible way to spend 3hours in NYC whether you are a long time resident of the city or visitor. The guide was totally entertaining for every minute of the 3 hours while giving history and trivia of the area and it's residents. The tasting was incredible. This was the BEST!

The food was awesome! The tour guide knew her location inside out! Super interesting. Bleecker street by far became our favorite neighbourhood to chill for our 4 day stay in NY after this tour. We're originally from Toronto. Good stuff. Highly recommended.

We had tastings at 8 places! More than I have had on other tours. Our guide was great and she pointed out other good resaurants in the area! We loved the area so much we went back a few nights later to watch an off off broadway show and eat at a restuarant in the area.

I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York city. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and interesting. The food we received on this tour was plenty to satisfy anyone's appetite.
