Foods of New York Tours

Our tour guide, Diana, was wonderful - enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very well spoke. Would've like tastings at all the stops. Portions were a tad small. Can't wait to do another one!

The tour is so different then any other site seeing adventure I have even been on. You get history of an area of Manhattan, that as a New Yorker I have been to 100's of times, but never knew. Also, the food is amazing and the guides knowledge of the food and the culture really tie will together to make it a great experience.

We had a great guide, Burt, who showed us around Chinatown and taught us a lot! However, I feel the tour is a bit "dialed down" for westerners. For example, for dessert we had the "tiger roll" a dessert that, we were told, can be found in any Chinese bakery. It's a yellow cake rolled around a chocolate cake, rolled around a ball of fudge. Not really Chinese. I would have liked to have some Chinese dessert and go out of our comfort zone. The Peking Duck was great, I really enjoyed it, the Dim Sum was great too! The only other thing I would point out is that I think I would have liked to have had the shopping stop at the end of the tour so those who want to shop don't have to hurry and those who don't want to stay in the store for a half an hour or so can move on to exploring the neighborhood on their own. Before this tour I'd never really been to New York's Chinatown, and this tour was definitely a great way to see it!

This China town food tour was wonderful. The food was great. . . no disappoints at all! The real joy in this tour was our guide, Bert. He is very knowledgeable, humorous, helpful and patient! I will do the tour again when the opportunity arises.

Been coming to Chinatown since I was little, initially with my parents. It was only to eat a few selected restaurants. This tour helped to enlighten me about more of the cultural and hidden aspects of this community. The food was good especially the Peking duck. Would like to see a tour for the hard core eaters like myself. Tripe and chicken feet dim sum are always on my menu. I would also like a more in depth cultural experience.

Susan gave it her all. The food was plentiful and tasty. Weather was great.

This is the second food tour we did with you because we really have enjoyed them and they are a great value with so much food. Also, we like that it gives you history of the area's which we really enjoy.

Enjoyed the tour...loved the tour guide ( zevrah) who made it fun and interesting. A good way to obtain a glimpse of the many options Greenwich offers.

fun day in the city! loved the idea that I was able to be introduced to new local businesses. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. It is a nice way to see a small piece of the city and meet new people.

This tour was one of the highlights of a brief visit to New York City. Our guide was knowledgeable and professional. The tastings were excellent and plentiful. We gleaned a lot of useful information about the history, architecture and food of Greenwich Village. We ended up coming back to one of the restaurants that night for dinner.Would do it again, or try one of the other tours they have to offer. Great value for the money too!

Our guide was a very nice person who took really good care of us. He knows the quarter very well, and we learnt a lot about this part of New York as well as of the good food which is available there. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Rakeem (?) was the best tour guide yet. He knew his neighorhood - the history of the people & the businesses & the events. Would love to go on other tours led by Rakeem. The food was plentiful and memorable.

I thought this food tour was awesome! Very well run and great value for money. The food was fantastic, with a good amount of history about the Greenwich area. Our tour guide was also very well presented.
