Foods of New York Tours

This tour was a wonderful way to explore a part of New York that we may not otherwise have discovered. Our tour guide, Heather, was knowledgeable, interesting and made us all feel most welcome. The tour pace was leisurely and the food experiences were awesome.

History and food - a fantastic combination! Our guide Rahim had great stories and made each stop memorable - my group could not stop talking about this tour for the rest of the weekend! We definitely want to do all of the other tours. I thought it would just be little tastes at each restaurant, but it was a lot of food! We were all happily full by the end. We had two out of towners and one New Yorker and all of us learned things and found new places we want to go back to.

We are locals and wanted to do something different with our 2 kids (teenagers). Rahim, the tour guide was fantastic! He was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We stopped at some terrific spots and the food was amazing. We truly enjoyed every aspect of the tour and would highly recommend it. At the end of the tour we were very full. My 2 daughters really had a great time as did my husband and I.

We went on the Greenwich food tour in January 2012 and led by Heather we had a great time. It was for about 3 hours and it flew by. Heather was wonderful, so enthusiastic about everything and really knowledgable about the area and the restaurants we visited, obviously well researched and knew what she was talking about. We were bought this as a wedding gift as New York was our honeymoon and although we both like our food and to have good meals we were a little sceptical how much we'd enjoy this tour, BUT I can't say again how much fun we had. I think we were especially lucky as the whole group was fun and we met a real mix of people, even some New Yorkers! Highly recommend to anyone who fancies a better insight to Greenwich Village and New York food in general! A*****

Our guide was Marie. She was fabulous. The food was excellent. Loved the village and the history. It was just the perfect tour and highly recommend. And who says new workers are not friendly? The locals we met on the tour were wonderful and very hospitable! Thank you!

Annie was fabulous. We loved the tour- all the interesting factoids and of course the tasty morsels. You won't be disappointed!

.... but the tour showed us that there was so much more to be discovered. Annie, our guide, was most charming as well as very knowledgeable. She did her best to keep the group comfortable on a frigid day. The food was plentiful and delicious. In fact, we returned to one of our stops for dinner that evening. We've made note of the others for our next trip. All in all, it would be hard to think of a better way to spend a Sunday morning in the city.

I loved the tour and Anny made it extra special. She even sang us a good-bye song. My favorite was the pizza at Emprorio. Thanks for a great time!

Annie was the perfect guide and made a chilly Sunday morning/lunch pass by so quickly that we literally were left wanting more... The tour in itself is highly interesting if you appreciate a blend of culture, history and food! The three hours were worth every penny and we were given great insight into Nolita!

My wife's a foodie so I planned a surprise trip to Chelsea Market to take the guided tour. It far exceeded our expectations!!! We've told all our friends about the great time we had!!!

way more than just a food tour! so well thought out between the culture of the village/soho, the history and food. couldnt have been happier with the way things went, and definitely plan to do it again.
