This tour was a great addition to our trip to New York! The tastings were great, but the neighborhood tidbits and historical information were even better! This was a great way to spend an afternoon, and get to see a section of the city we were interested in knowing more about. It poured rain on our tour, and it was still definately one of our trip highlights! |

Brought my friend from France on this tour. The tour guide spoke clearly so he was able to understand every word. She was knowledgable and friendly. The food was plentiful and delicious. The whole thing was just great. Two thumbs up! |

Our group of 4 met up with Curt at the assigned place and time. Curt was an incredible guide, learning all of the tour participant's names (about 16) and sharing introductions with everyone so we all felt welcomed. The stops on the tour were all good choices and I really wouldn't change a thing. The weather cooperated and the day couldn't have been better. Curt paced the tour well, expecially considering we had one member who had broken her ankle on her first day in NYC and was in a wheelchair. Curt was extremely entertaining and provided us with all sorts of interesting facts. When it was over we returned to some of the shops we had toured to make some purchases. The tour was a hilight of our trip to NYC. I highly recommend this tour. (Ask for Curt if you can!) |

Teenage daughter and I took the tour on a Sunday. Plenty of food and good variety. Ted was our guide and had great stories on the food, shops, architecture, history and real estate market of the area. Not too much walking involved, more of a nice stroll. He pointed out restaurants and shops to visit. We were both full after the tour. I really feel like I will go back to the Village and confidently navigate around on my own. |

Our family had the good fortune to experience the Greenwich Village Tour several years ago during a freak blizzard in March. The intrepid guide and the group soldiered on through the blinding snow for three hours. Although completely frozen, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and loved the guide with his interesting stories, remembered long afterwards. So, we enthusiastically signed up for the Chelsea Market Tour for our trip to NYC this August. The day of our tour dawned a stiffling 98 degrees!! We decided that it was our family's fate to go on Food Tours during extreme weather conditions. But once again, the tour was worth withstanding the blazing heat. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge, and we sampled wonderful treats. We would do it again--maybe next time during a typhoon. |

Dave was a very good guide, the walk great value, very helpful and a good way of seeing Greenwich Village. The different food was just enough and very tasty. This was my second tour the other being Chelsea Market and my review would be the same for that. I look forward to doing the China Town tour next. |

I have taken several of your tours and the energy of the Guides is great...this gal was the best so far, such humor and fun, she could be my best friend if I lived in NYC...so much information and food. I always enjoy taking these tours...best way to get to see the neighborhoods and learn the history...in fact you all may be seeing some locals soon...told them all about you all. See you all on my next trip. Aloha |

We loved our tour guide and found that the food served on the tour were items we would not have known to order in a restaurant. It was a neat experience. We felt in the know being from out of town that we were the ONLY non New Yorkers on the trip.
Please do not use my name etc if you use my review. |

Lots of information and different foods were presented in a fun and entertaining way. This is the second time that we took the Greenwich Village tour and enjoyed it as much the second time as we did the first. Our guide painted a picture of the area as it began as well as modern day values of the area. I would highly recommend the tour. |

I just spent 5 days in the city and this tour was my favorite! I am a foodie at heart and i loved visiting the local eateries and trying something different from each one. Bert was our guide and he was very personable and very knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely do this tour or another area food tour again. |

We saw the food tour in the NYC Guidebook and decided to give it a try. It was the best thing we did during our time in NYC. Kurt, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about Greenwhich Village, as well as other items in New York. He directed us to some great places to shop, dine, and hear jazz. The tour itself was a great way to see the Village; it was a nice break from the rat race of the city. |

Fun dinner--lots of information

We had a great time at the dinner. There was a ton of food and plenty to drink. The commentary was interesting and plentiful. I would have preferred one large table rather than the set up we had (each "group" had their own table). Maybe there is a different setup if someone takes them up on the "great for singles" line... This was my second Foods of NY event and I look forward to doing more! |
