Exceptional tour and knowledgable guide

| On my last visit to NYC I decided to try one of the food tours. I woke up to a Noreaster that was plaguing NYC but as the tour was set to run rain or shine I headed out prepeared for the weather and what Ithought may not turn out to be a great day. Boy, was I wrong!! Our wonderful guide Susan met us at Cafe Del Mare and we started our trek. The food was not only delicious and interesting to learn about but Susan provided so much knowledge of the neighborhood and the culture of the region. She is an excellent guide. I cannot wait for my next trip to the city to try one of your other food tours. Since my return to NH I have raved about this tour and highly recommend it to friends who may be visiting the city. | We spent 3 days in NYC. The first 2 were spent around Times Square and we were bored to the point we were ready to go home early. Previously we had been to Greenwich village and didn't know what to do. Thanks to this tour we not only found great food, but fun things to do while there. We spent the rest of the day there and had a blast and went back to the restaurants we tried on the tour to get more great food. The Indian Bread company is the BEST! | ||||||

| Really fun to learn and eat at hte same time; found some of the food more tasty and special than others but owuld do this again in a hearbeat--good use of our time and money. | ||||||

| Cindy (our guide) was AMAZING!!! Not only was she extremely knowledgeable of the area and restaurants, it was like having a history professor guiding us! She made a rainy day quite enjoyable. The different foods on the tour were great and of a wonderful variety. I highly recommend this tour. | ||||||

| The tour was informative, the food great. We were not crazy about the guide, she rushed us at every stop saying there was another group right behind us. Maybe if she hadn't spent so much time talking we would have had more time to sit and enjoy the food and the experience. | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with an enthusiastic guide (Diana) who was full of information about restaurants, clubs, architecture and some history. The weather was rainy and cool, but it didn't matter as our visits to restaurants were great. We ended up re-visiting two restaurants and two clubs because of the tour. | ||||||

| Thought the tour was very interesting and the food sampled quite good. However, we felt very rushed starting about 2/3 of the way through the tour. Perhaps less time could have been spent during the orientation so as to not rush us later. In addition, we thought it was a waste of time to spend so much time inside La Lanterna when we were not sampling food there. At Cuba, the food was excellent, but we were encouraged to order mojitos and then had only a few minutes to drink them. Enjoyed the tour very much, but feel it could use a few modifications. | ||||||

| We loved the tour and enjoyed our host, Daryll. It was a rainy day, so it was perfect that we did the Chelsea/Meatpacking districts since it indoors for part of the time! I highly recommend it! | ||||||

| This was an interesting tour. It was a wet and cold day and you need suitable clothing and foot wear as you are out of doors for alot of the time. The food tasting was very enjoyable and a good variety. | ||||||

| Daryl was a great tour guide. He had a lot of historical information to share and he did so with great wit. I would recommend this tour to anyone, even locals. Expect to eat a lot of food from all the vendors at the Chelsea Market. | ||||||

| Curt (Kurt?) is incredibly entertaining and personable. The food is varied and delicious. We had high hopes for the tour and our expectations were exceeded. I am fairly familiar with NYC but not this locale so it was really fun to learn about the changes to the area, while partaking of all the great nibbles - and honestly, most of the portions went way beyond nibbling! | ||||||
