| This is my 4th walking tour of NY thru Foods Of New York. And it was the best. Lots of good walking, delicious foods, we learned not only about Chinatown in NY, but also about Chinese culture. The guide, Rahim, was kind and patient and acted like we were the only people in the world. He was just great. I highly recommend this tour. And the food, by the way, was delicious and quite filling! | ||||||

| We saved this tour for our last day in New York and it did not disapoint. Rahim, our guide, was excellent. His passion for all things Asian, including food, makes this a 'can't miss' tour. The tour effectively mixes Chinese history, NYC history and excellent food into an experience you won't soon forget. I am very confident that now I, a native Texan, can take my NYC friends and show them parts of Chinatown they have never seen. | ||||||

| I have visited NY many times. My daughter attended NYU and now lives there. I have been to Greenwich Village but this tour gave me a whole new perspective of the area. I loved it! I have already highly recommended it to those I know that live there. Our tour guide Cindy was wonderful. Extremely enthusiatic and knew what she was talking about. We also had the opportunity to review Centro Vinoteca. It was a fashionable/comfy bar. I loved the modernistic decor. The food that we tasted was not so great. It was very clean. Bleeker Street Pizza was the best! The chocolate chip cookies at Milk and Cookies are fabulous. I enjoyed all the other goodies at the other places as well. I loved being able to walk through the area - it was such a beautiful day. 5 stars from me!!!!!!!! | ||||||

| After I took the tour, I went back to have lunch at the Trattoria Pesce Pasta and the food, service and price was very, very good. If I hadn't taken the tour, I certanly would miss a very good meal in NY. | ||||||

| I took the tour with my girlfriend. The guide was great and the tour stops were well thought out. I learned so much about Greenwich Village. I have lived in the city for a little while, but I knew almost nothing about its history. The people on the tour from Indianapolis now know more about Greenwich Village than most New Yorkers. This tour is highly recommended. | ||||||

| I highly recommend this tour. My husband admitted he didn't think he'd enjoy this tour but it was at the top of both our lists of favorite things we did in NY. Our guide Cindi was fantastic. The group included 1 New Yorker, tourists from CA, AZ & TX, and couples from Germany, Finland and Australia. The history we learned from Cindi was so interesting and fun. She pointed out things we never would have known just visiting the food market on our own. We tasted a huge variety of foods and learned a little about the chefs behind them. We got a sense of the development of Chelsea and how it is evolving today. I will definitely schedule some of the other food tours next time I'm in NY. | ||||||

| Having taken the Foods of NY Chelsea Market tour several times, I did not hesitate to recommend this tour to seven friends visiting NYC with me from Sarsota, FL. All were equally enthusiastic about the quality of the tour - the food and the information shared re the culture, architecture, history, and entertainment were great. Our guide, Heather, was very knowledgeable and easily heard even on noisy streets (her acting experience came in handy). It's clear that a great deal of research and effort are put into the development of the tour, both the route and the food samplings provided. I look forward to taking the other tour offerings presented by this company . | ||||||

| I've lived in NYC for 2 years now and it was great to be escorted around the West Village. It was a nice mix of history and great food tastings. My parents and I were stuffed by the end! | ||||||

| I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. I expected the food would be good, but I actually learned a lot about a neighborhood I thought I knew well. Our tour guide Heather was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She was very natural and spoke loud enough so that everyone could hear her even over the crowds passing by. Aside from learning about local restaurants, she also provided us with information on architecture and little known NYC facts. I have a wheat intolerance and although the tour is very carb heavy, at each stop I was given the opportunity to try something wheat free. My favorite was the risotto cheese ball from Faicco's Italian Specialty Store. I also appreciated the stop at Centro Vinotecca, a new stop on the tour, since it was a chance to sit and relax while sampling the italian food. Thanks for a great afternoon! | ||||||

| Everything about this tour was enjoyable and interesting. Very nice tour guide and easy pace - would have been nice to have a place to sit down and rest occasionally, but it was now a problem. Would recommend it for anyone. | ||||||
