We went on the Chinatown walking/eating with Raheem. The food was fantastic, and our guide provided us with lots of information about what we were eating as well as an interesting overview of Chinatown. He was obviously well-informed and excited about his topic as well as friendly and pleasant. We had a great time; this is our second tour, and we will definitely do another tour the next time we are in NYC. |

We got to see and hear about some fabulous little restaurants that otherwise would be impossibly hard to find for international visitors. The tour also provided a brief historical perspective of the area and architecture, which was unexpected but welcome. |

It's a great way to learn about a section of the city and true insights for non- New Yorkers. The tour buses are nothing compared to what this offers - more details of the area with the shopping and the food. We had a great tour guide that spoke from the heart and was a true NY. Very easy pace so if you want to purchase items from the shops, the timing is relaxed. The shop owners enjoyed the group and eagerly served great samples and suggestions. |

I've lived in NYC for eight years and this is the second time I've gone on this tour. The first was with a best friend and this time was with my boyfriend. NYC dwellers can appreciate this tour just as much if not more than tourists becuase we can head the advice of our guides and go back to the restaurants we visited. It's the perfect mix of history and culinary indulgence. Being italian (and my boyfriend not) I got to share with him a piece of my culture as well. I plan on giving a gift certificate to my family and friends for the holidays.
On another note, our tour guide Mike was fantastic. He is a true veteren of the village and his frequent familiarity with the patrons and dwellers of the neigborhood added to the experience. I felt as if he really new the village and had not just read a guide provided by the organization. Please, please create a food tour for other neighborhoods in NY. Such a treat! |

My husband and I took day trip to NY for our anniversary. I wasn't sure what to do that we both would enjoy. He doesn't like plays or shopping both of which normally is the reason I go to NY. I googled non touristy things to do in NY and this came up first. He is a big music fan so I thought we would both enjoy this tour. Cindy our tour guide was the best. She seemed to know everyone in the neighborhood and she made the experience so much fun. All the food was delicious and I have already recommended this tour to many of my friends. |

This is the 3rd food tour that I've done with this company. The first two - NoLitaNOHO and Central Village/SOHO were excellent; that's why I decided to try a third one. Unfortunately, the Greenwich Village tour was a big disappointment. The tour guide prattled on and on about nothing, and most of the time we couldn't hear her because she would stand in the middle of our group with her back to half of us. The tour ran way over the scheduled 3 hours and a couple of people had to leave the tour before it was over to get to other activities. As for the food: some good (Joe's Pizza, mac & cheese at Home Restaurant), some mediocre (Rafele's, Murray's cheese: I've had some great cheeses at Murray's, but felt that the 3 selections we were given were pretty blah).
I still highly recommend the other tours; just stay away from this one. |

My daughter & I went on the NoHo/NoLita food tour while we were in NY during Mother's Day weekend. We loved the food, the history of the area, the architecture, the celebrity sighting (Gabriel Byrne having lunch at an outdoor table on Bond Street), and especially our fabulous tour guide Anney. I've taken 5 or 6 food tours over the past 2 years, in NYC and San Francisco, and this one was hands down the very best. Thanks Anney; I wish you bluebirds in the spring... |

Had spotted this tour on the internet which seemed to have an interesting itinerary. Although a wet day, Ed our tour guide was excellent on describing the foods and history of this unique area. This was our second visit to New York and we wanted to sample a more local flavour this time, we set off visiting local shops and restaurants we would never have dreamt of going into. Usually glancing at a menu outside is as far as we would ever get, but with Ed's guidance we would have the confidence to try these places in the future. The history of the area was also very rewarding, looking at a plaque outside a building never tells the real story. Excellent tour, great guide, keep up the good work. |

We had the most wonderful time ever. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable about the city. All of the food was delicious. We never felt rushed and there were plenty of stops for the restroom. One person in our group has MS and walks with a cane. We were a little worried that she wouldn't have anywhere to sit and that she might not be able to keep up with the tour. We were very pleased at how she was able to take small breaks and our guide did not walk so fast that we could not keep up. We loved it so much we are thinking of doing another walking food tour next year. Thanks a million!!! |

This is the second year in a row that I have brought my parents on one of your food tours. Last year we did the classic village tour around Bleecker St. and this year we did the Central village and Soho tour. Both were excellent and both guides were really top notch. I work at NYU so I know quite a bit about the restaurants around here, but I learned a lot of interesting new information and new restaurants that I will go back to on both tours. It's a huge hit with my parents as well and we will probably do the Chealse tour next year. Keep up the good work and keep hiring excellent guides! |

This was great fun as well as being very informative and very tasty. I would recommend doing it early in your NY trip so that you can go back later and spend more time in each of the shops and restaurants. It is also a great way to explore Greenwich Village which is one of NYC's highlights. |

We were part of your E.Village and Soho tour last Saturday.
I have not stopped talking about what a great time the 5 of us had.
The exuberance of our tour guide-the facts we learned- the food we tasted were all enjoyable. Even the weather cooperated!
You can't ask for more for your money-We look forward to trying another one soon! |

Information - wonderfully delighted on the information shared
Food- incredible, can' wait to try complete dining at all of the places on the tour
Tour Guide - completely made the day, no other words but GREAT
Would recommend this to everyone that wants to tour the village. Not a lot of walking, so this would be suitable for anyone that can walk slowly for a few blocks. This is a don't miss when sight seeing in NYC! |
