Highlight of our short stay in New York

| I live in Chicago, my daughter lives in London. We decided to meet in New York for a girls' weekend. The highlight of our trip was the Greenwich Food and Culture Tour. Our guide, Cindy, was hilarious, fun and informative. She made Greenwich come alive describing the people, their food and specialties as we walked from one establishment to another. We tasted food from pizza to risotto to the best oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. The three hour tour (we went over because we were such a fun group) was well worth it. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York. Since the restaurants and food probably change with each tour this is something I would definitley do again!!! | ||||||

| I had purchased tickets as a surprise for our family...my husband, our 13 year old daughter(who eats everything) and myself, as a surprise!!!. Our host was Diana who grew up and has lived much of her life in the Soho, Greenwich Village area. She was absolutely fabulous with historic and cultural information as well as took us to some of the most amazing food stops. We visited restaurants, bakeries, butchers, eateries and more. We sampled alot of food. After the tour we visited 4 of the stops later for meals or treats. We would have gone to more, but had to come home!!!!! We will do one of the other tours on our next trip to NYC. I would absolutely recommend these tours to everyone!! Laurie and family | ||||||

| The tour was great. Our guide was fun, enthusiastic, made everyone feel welcome. We ate a lot of great food that we otherwise never would have experinced and learned a lot about the culture, history and food of Greenwich Village. Enthusiastically recommended. We plan to do the Chelsea / Meat Packing District tour the next time we are in town. | ||||||

| For anyone who enjoys various types of fantastic food, from pizza to risotto to cheeses and cannoli, plus interesting historical facts about the village, this tour is for you! Our tour guide, Cindy, was absolutely excellent and went out of her way, including extra time, make everyone on the tour comfortable. What was also wonderful was meeting other people on the tour literally from all over the world. I would highly recommend it to anyone! We've also done the chelsea market tour and are planning to do the others. This tour group is wonderful! | ||||||

| This tour was much better than I expected--better food, more information about the area and the history, and just a lovely way to learn little-known facts about this section of NYC. I took my mother as a birthday gift, and she and I really enjoyed it. We happened to have a perfect fall day and the streets were crowded, which only added to the energy of NY. | ||||||

| Your tour was wonderful. It was recommended to me by a New York native as a great thing to do when my mother and sister-in-law came to NY for a short holiday. We had a great time. I loved that the food was affordable, the guide knowledgable and that the information she provided was about many topics. We had a blast. | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Sephrah, was the best guide I have ever had. She was extremely funny, friendly and made the tour that much more fantastic. The food was also delicious. We had a great mix of many different kinds. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York. | ||||||

| Excellent from start to finish! The tour guide was so knowledgeable about the area, the people and the food. What a wonderful way to find excellent restaurants that a non-New Yorker would never know about. Can't wait to do the next one. | ||||||

| Foods of NY tours are wonderful if you really want to get an in-depth look and taste for a particular area of the city. Much better experience than sitting on a coach and just looking at things as you pass them by. The group sizes definitely need to be kept small to keep with the quaintness of some of the establishments and even the areas. The last thing you want to do is make it feel too touristy. We had 16 ppl + myself and that should be the absolute maximum. Anything more would not be manageable and alter the experience. I've done this tour and the original Greenwich Village one and loved both! | ||||||

| The tour leader was informative and knowledgeable. It would be a wonderful resource for dining tips on a current or future trip to New York. When I come back I intend on taking some of the other tours offered. | ||||||
