cindy was the tour leader and did a great job: she is very knowledgeable about greenwich village, the history of greenwich village and the handouts were very useful. Above all, the food tasting was wonderful too-a history lesson while you eat...what's better????

Excellent tour! Guide Barrie was knowledgable about all the food, the neighborhod and the architecture. All the restaurants are excellent, we would not have found them if we didn't join the tour.

I have been to NYC many times on business trips and usually only have 1 or 2 free days to explore, shop, etc. In planning this most recent trip with a friend, I did some research and decided to try this tour. We were so impressed! Our guide, Cindy, was wonderful and made the experience very memorable. She was intelligent, funny, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable about NYC's history and the Greenwich Village area. The food tastings were delicious and we loved learning about the traditional ethnic flavors that are a part of NYC. We had a truly authentic experience. Thank you---it was a special afternoon.

The tour guide was excellent and very knowable.

I can see people who love to cook will enjoy this tour. It's full of neat stories about famous TV chefs, unique ingredients, the NYC dining scene, and tasty samples. I'm more of a history and architecture buff, so the next time I get to NYC I'll probably try the Greenwich Village tour my wife and son rave about.

This is a must see if you have ever had any interest in the history and people of the Village. Our guide was entertaining an told us many interesting stories from the past. The food was fantastic. My husband and I can't wait to return to NYC so we can sit and enjoy the food and atmosphere of Greenwich Village. Thank you Todd for the special attention.

a lot of fun

I liked the tour of Greenwich Village better.

Kirk did a great job a keeping everyone's interest.

We were on the 11:30 tour June 23, 06. Our tour guide Kirt was very knowledgeable, and had as much fun as we did on the tour. Enjoyed very much and have recommended this tour to others. We are originally from New York and was back visiting, and we realized we never would have seen this much of this area on our own. When we come back up for a visit we will go on another tour with you. Thank you Jen and Mike

I have already used my new found knowledge by providing a restaurant recommendation to friends who will be visiting NYC this weekend. I think the tour could be improved upon by offering more tastes (could be as small as a spoonful) of food from the restaurants. In my opinion there were too many sweet tastes (cookies, nuts, canoli). Also it would be very nice to have paired a glass of NY state wine with the cheese from Murray's. The stop at Aphrodesia should be eliminated - it is too much of a stretch to include this shop in a food and cultural tour. Also it was puzzling that at least half of the restaurants we were given on our list of 36 were not mentioned or pointed out to us. I do plan to take the tour of the Village and Soho and the Chelsea Market tour on future visits to NYC. Thanks.

The tour guide was excellent--engaging, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I took two of my out-of-town family members and we all loved it. I have lived in New York for 2 years and am a certifiable foodie and I still learned a ton and discovered some great places to eat! Highly recommended.

This was the first time I had ever taken part in a food and walking tour of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District, and I enjoyed it very much. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I found my group to be friendly as well. I loved sampling all of the foods offered. I even went back to the Market to buy a few things once the tour had officially ended. I intend on taking part in the other food/walking tours offered, such as the Greenwich Village tour.

We had a great time. I would highly recommend it.
