Great tour and wonderful guide. The only sad thing about this tour is that we didn't take it on our first day in NY.

We are the locals, but we saw and learned a lot of interesting things that we didn't know and we highly recommend this tour even to new yorkers

Cindy...What fun she was. Energetic, informed, enthusiastic, and cared about her group. Knew everyone in the village. Obvious that she loved the people, food, and history. All the food sampled was so different and yummy. Her knowledge of architecture was so appreciated. Loved Chumley's speak-easy. Would recommend it to all who visit or live in NYC. Thank you!

Besides revisiting streets and a neighborhood I haven't been at for more than a decade. I enjoyed learning some new trivia about the Village and it's architecture from our tourguide Cindy who was a lot of fun to be with. The food we tasted were delicious, and our group was very much welcomed into each one of the establisments by it's proprietor. I can't wait to do another tour!

Unfortunately, we never took the tour because after several emails from the tour organizer who was trying to change the time of the tour, a tour guide was not available and the tour was cancelled. Our money was refunded. I was very disappointed since I had made plans for this tour well in advance. At the last minute, I had to make other plans for our day in the City. I found this to be very unprofessional.

The Greenwich Village Food and Culture Tour was, by far, one of the most awesome tours we have taken in the city. Not only was the food terrific but we now know that Greenwich Village is a charming neighborhood to explore. Our tour guide, Cindy, made the 3 hour tour so much fun. We can't wait to return to try the Chelsea Tour!

I highly recommend this activity. I had never been to Greenwich Village and the tour was a great introduction. Our guide was great, not just with the food and restaurants, but also the neighborhood and real estate.

It was GREAT. Cereta ( I'm not sure how to spell her name) was terrific and very well versed. The trip was worth every penny. Can't get this inside information form a your book. We are very much looking forward to the Meatpacking district tour on our next visit. Can you set one up for Chinatown? We were in NYC for 4 days and this was certainly a highlight of the trip. We have the website bookmarked for future trips.

It was great tour. Unfortunately my English is poor, but I enjoyed the tour. You should go even if you aren't quite at home in English!

We both enjoyed this and highly recommend it to both visitors and residents of NYC. Visitors should definitely take the tour at the beginning of their trip. Susan provided us with a good sense of the neighborhood's history and current culture, as well as excellent tips on local restaurants and shops. We were much better educated after the tour not only about the specific restaurants covered, but about picking restaurants elsewhere in the city. We'd do it again!

The tour was great, including both some yummy tastings and history of New York and particularly the Greenwich Village area. Do this tour in the first couple of days in New York so you can take advantage of all the restaurant recommendations!

First rate and filling - in all ways! The food tour of Greenwich Village was thoroughly enjoyable. I would recommend it, without hesitation, not only for the food enthusiast, but for any tourist who wants to get to know the village through the eyes of a resident. In addition to the places visited, I also enjoyed the annotations - the tips and stories about other restaurants, bars, bakeries and businesses in the area. Our tour leader (Michael) was engaging, interesting, informed, pleasant and an excellent raconteur. I look forward to coming back to NYC and to participating in your Chelsea tour.

This tour is the best way to get to know Greenwich Village. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Village and surrounding areas. The foods we tasted were excellent and so fantastic that a few of us went back to the area to try different foods. We actually ate a main course in one restaurant and dessert in another and bought cheese to bring home. When we go back next year we are definitely taking another tour.
