| The tour started out at a restaurant that was closed due to a robbery that happened over night. Some communication between the restaurant and the tour company could have prevented us from even going to Indian Bread and then having to waste time while the tour guide figured out what to do. The tour guide certainly could have known her history, but she was more concerned with telling stories about her Mother and her child hood that I just zoned her out. There tour was suppose to be humorous, it wasn’t. 1-1/2 hours into the tour (and only two food samplings), we could not take the pain any longer. We left and headed to Canal St. An absolute waste of time and money. | ||||||

| The guide, Susan, was wonderful. She was extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic about the area. The food was great; we were not hungry for dinner for many hours after the tour. On the day of our tour the Indian Bread Co. had unfortunately experienced a robbery and so could not be a part of the tour. Susan handled this with great courtesy and tact and the owner met us later on in the tour with samples to replace what we would have received at the Bread Co. This was the epitamy of great service. We will most certainly book the other Greenwich tour when we return to New York based on our enjoyment of this tour and Susan's recommendation. | ||||||

| Everything about this tour was splendid - the location, the tour-guide and of course the very food we are most interested in (is that just us?). Anywho the guide was expremely knowledgable and presented us with a concice overview of the area as well as introducting, and permiting (obviously!) us to sample, some of the local food. Overall an excellent experience - highly enjoyed and very recommended. | ||||||

| It was a great experience. It was just not about the food, but a lot about the village-- the history as well as architecture. Barri our guide was excellent. I have travelled to many places but this was a great walking and eating tour. I think anyone who comes to NY should do this tour. THANKS BARRI! | ||||||

| I read about the tour in a NYTimes travel article, and thought it would be a good way to see a part of the city that we otherwise might not make it to on our visit. My husband and I both enjoyed it - especially the food. The pizza(s), cheese, and cookies were favorites. I hope heaven smells like Murray's Cheese shop. I also enjoyed learning about other restaurants in the neighborhood - good ideas of places to visit on another trip. While I appreciated the culture part of the tour, it lasted about an hour too long. We came back to the village later in the weekend with friends and repeated it in about 15 minutes. Overall it is definitely worth it, and I would recommend it to friends and family. | ||||||

| The Chelsea Market Tour was a wonderful way to learn about Chelsea Market and the Meat Packing District. I live locally and didn't know the history of the Market, so qiute informative. Our guide (Ed) was really knowledgable and the food along the way was delicious. Come hungry! | ||||||

| Very well balanced agenda that provided a good mix of local history, social evolution of the area, and the resultant foods and restaurants in the neighbourhood. The choice of restaurants and shops was very appropriate. Our guide was very well informed and did an outstanding job. | ||||||

| My husband and I enjoyed ourselves enormously on this tour. The food, although plentiful and fun was incidental to our enjoyment of hearing the history and facts that related to the areas we visited. Our guide knew his stuff and presented the tour at a pace that suited the group we were with. Three hours is a long time and although by the end we were both tired we went away with some great ideas and suggestions to our family who actually live locally. I would say though if the weather is hot, hot, hot as it can be in NYC at this time this tour could be fairly difficult and uncomfortable. Those who get tired easily or who find standing for long periods of time won't particularly enjoy this as it is all standing. In conclusion, I found this good value for money and a great way to see new areas of the city. | ||||||

| This tour gives you not only the tastes of the village, but points out many shoppes and restaurants /bistros to explore on your own. Also it gives you the history of the area, how it started and developed, as well as the Village's part in the growth of the American Cultural Arts. It's a glimpse of the old city neighborhoods from the sights and sounds of the narrow streets and the architectural charm, to the many smells and tastes of the world's cuisines. Living in New Jersey I have had the opportunity to see NYC in many ways, but this trip is at the top of my list for a Big Apple Experience. | ||||||

| My husband and I had a great time on this food and walking tour. Our tour guide, Susan, was unbelievable. She had a great knowledge and feel for the Greenwich Village area. We learned a great deal about the culture and history of the area. The food was amazing. We were able to try and taste new foods that we normally would not have ordered for ourselves. I will definitely recommend this tour to all of my friends and family that plan to visit NYC. The next time we are in NYC we will definitely book the other food tasting tours. We can't wait! | ||||||

| Our guide Kurt was great value, had an excellent understanding of the local area and made us laugh and laugh... The tour is excellent value, you will not leave without a full belly. The food was delicious and we discovered a part of New York that we may never had found ourselves (the Chelsea Market) Do yourself a favour and DO THIS TOUR! | ||||||
