| The Chelsea Market is fascinating in a lot of ways and Cindy really let us know what they were. The food was fabulous and more than enough for lunch. The history was terrific, too. And Cindy herself was a lot of fun. A great choice for a rainy day, since most of the walk was indoors. | ||||||

| My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour.We both agree that the experience exceeded our expectations.Our guide was very congenial and informative and made all in the group feel welcomed. | Information on both the history of the area and the food was interesting and generally presented in an amusing way although the jokes were a bit lame. Tastings were only average, the best being the oil tasting on Amy's bread. Yes, there was plenty to eat just not so tasty and I would certainly not go back to the places where I did get to taste the food. Felt a bit rushed at some places but did understand we were on a tight schedule. In all fairness, I was familiar with the area in terms of the kinds of restaurants and the general surroundings and have eaten at several over the years. Perhaps a tour to another area would have been more to my liking. The guide was as I mentioned entertaining if you like slap stick kinds of jokes. He was quite knowledgeable about the area and the food. Interesting stories that added dimension to the experience. | ||||||

| Great way to find out about the local area, best places to eat and the food sampling was spot on. Our guide for the tour was a lady call Cindi and it was apparent by the way she spoke enthusiastically about Greenwich Village that she loved the place. Very knowledgeable on the area and the food we were sampling. The tour was a great way to spend the day and i would recommend this tour to anyone visiting New York. | ||||||

| My mom and I enjoyed the Foods of NY tour very much--especially the new addition of Centro Vinotecca. It was a classy add on with a terrific tasting. We really liked be able to enjoy a quartino of wine at the bar (in fact, I'd recommend people order it when they first sit down so they can enjoy it while you're telling them about the restaurant and the tasting). I am definitely going to check out the restaurant to enjoy the full menu. Since I had actually been on this tour before, I can say that it was superior to the Thai restaurant we had visited before it closed. I would definitely keep it in the mix! Marie was an excellent tour guide. We appreciated her love of NYC and the tips of Greenwich Village she shared with us. We're definitely planning to return to the area for more food and shopping. And we're trying to get a group together for another tour. Thanks for everything! | ||||||

| The tour was organized, kept to the schedule and informative. one suggestion was in regards to the new stop added to the list (Centro Vinoteca). the tour guide went into great detail about the wines available and yet we did not get even a tiny sample of wine. i think if it's a big part of the establishment (which this seemed to be the case). a small sample should have at least been optional. also, the food samples seemed to be very carb heavy. 2 pizza slices, bread/olive oil, orzo/rice balls, cookie. maybe some more protein or greens here and there to break up the carbs would have been nice. overall, great tour!! thanks | ||||||

| A friend of mine organized a group of us to try the tour, and it was fantastic! Susan was our tour guide, and we spent three hours walking around, having many delicious tastings, and getting an extremely interesting lesson on the history of the area. I live locally and learned a great deal about the neighborhood, while discovering lots of restaurants and food shops that I was not previously familiar with. Highly recommended!!! | ||||||

| I had attended the same tour last year with another group and enjoyed it so much that I booked it again to take a friend this time that had never been to NYC before. Rahim was excellent and he even remembered me from last years tour! He was just as knowledgeable and fun to tour with this year. There were a few different food stops this time, which was good to change it up a bit. I would recommend this tour to other friends visiting the NYC area. | ||||||

| This was my favorite part of my visit to New York. Amazing histoy and great food. Not too much walking (more standing around than walking). Great for any person. | ||||||
