Foods of New York Tours

Our Chinatown food & cultural tour was great for a number of reasons. Bert, our guide, was well informed & familiar with Chinatown, quite funny in a natural manner, and engaging. We were a group of 7 women in our family ranging in age from 30 - 68, and we all loved the tour. We have been on all of the Foods of New York tours, and this one was the same quality, if not better than some of the others. We enjoyed sitting down at the restaurants to eat, and seeing a side of Chinatown that we had never seen before. Well done & we would all highly recommend this tour! Sheri

I Have Been On Several Food Tours. They Have All Been Amazing But I Have To Say Curt Was the Best Guide Ever. Loved Him:)

Curt did a great job of getting us many places with lots of fun facts. He's a "foodie" and it shows. Was a wonderful way to see the area; loved going to the Highline and into Greenwich a little. Great event. Will do it again!

Went on this tour expecting to be eating too much food and thats all. Turned out to be pretty interesting because they also explained the history of the places and we got to have a nice walk. The food tour won't get you stuffed but you will have enough food to be satisfied. In addition you get a better sense of places you may want to come back to in the near future. Shortly after my group of friends went to Peter Luger! Mistake or best idea ever ?!

Have been to NYC many time. We wanted to do something unique and different. We loved this. Saw part of the village we have never seen before, learned fun facts and of course great food. Heather, the tour guide was great. Would highly recommend.

This is my third food tour with your company and each one has been a wonderful experience! The food is great but I believe the history lesson is even better! Annie is wonderful. Not only is she knowledgable about food and history, she is a delight to be around!

A colleague at work recommended this tour (and others from this company) and we weren't disappointed. I went with my wife and teenage daughter and we all enjoyed it. The food selection was very good and we absolutely didn't need lunch. Burt was our guide and was very good - fun and knowledgeable. In addition to the listed restaurants, he was able to show us inside a few other interesting local places. The pace was just right - not fast and rushed and not painfully slow. The cultural part of the tour was a good balance of history and pop culture, which was appreciated by my teenager. We are trying another of their tours in a few weeks.

I discovered this tour online as I was researching things to do in Soho. Our guide was phenomenal and knowledgeable about the restaurants, the area, and the architecture of the area. It was very unique that we were able to go to several places and get food samples. I would definitely take another one of these food tours again when I am in NYC. Because of this tour, we ate at two of the restaurants featured on the tour. It was a neat "non-touristy" thing to do!

During our tour, we were given historical information about the meatpacking district. Besides that, we also got to taste a lot of different delicacies, which made the tour well worth our money.

I have been to NY several times as I have relatives here and was looking for something different to do. Enjoyed this immensely. Our guide, Curt, was excellent and I would recommend this tour as a great way to learn about a specific area. Will do another tour next time I am in NY

Great location & great food tastings! This one needs to be on your "must do" list! I would do this tour again...definitely recommend!!
