Delicious, Fun, and Informative

| This tour was both informative and delicious -- and Daryl made it tremendous fun. He went above-and-beyond to make sure we were all pleased and was a marvelous communicator. We ended up extremely pleased with the tour. My only wish is that he would do other tours of other areas so we could be under his care again in getting to know another part of the City. | ||||||

| I would have enjoyed it more if it didn't seem like we were always in the way of the restaurants and (quite honestly) the tour guide. We were on a low traffic street and were told repeatedly to move out of the way, not by passersby but by our tour guide. The restaurants seemed burdened by our presence and no one seemed happy to accommodate us. (except for the bar where we were able to sit and have wine. The bartender was very nice and accommodating.) I know the tour is about food, but do we really need to hear about every detail of a meal that was eaten at a restaurant that's not even a stop on our tour? It's boring. It could also EASILY be done in two hours. There was a lot of standing around, trying to fill time until we could go to the next stop. It was entirely too long. We did like learning about all of the history in Greenwich Village. Once the talk about the landmark district started it picked up a little a bit, which is surprising because that's where we ate the least. The food was pretty good, and it was a lot. Plenty for lunch. I think maybe the other tours might be better, like the chelsea market, because it's more out of the way. This was not the best time my family has had in the city. I think there are other tours that would be more informative and more fun. | ||||||

| This food tour was alot of fun. The food was very good. There were samples of food that you would eat normally to food that you probably would never try. But on this tour you try everything because it is so much fun. The walk is not terrible and you don't even know you walked so far because you are doing other things like eating, listening to what the tour person has to say and just having a good time. I surprised my husband for his birthday by doing this and he loved it. They even sang happy birthday to him at the milk and cookies place with his own cupcake. My children ages 24-girl, 21-boy and 16-girl had a great time and would definitely do it again. If you are looking for something to do that is alot of fun and different do this tour. | ||||||

| The tour is 3.5 hours long, during which you tasted several small items from several restaurants. Unfortunately, you also stood around and listened to descriptions of restaurants you never entered. In all, you actually taste food from five establishments (all great), but this could happen in 2 hours or less. Too long and too little. | ||||||

| The tour was an absolute joy! Not only was Susan a knowledgeable and fun guide, but the foods we tasted were DELICIOUS and served in fairly sizeable portions. I loved hearing stories about the neighborhood, as well as walking around both Greenwich Village and SoHo. I highly recommend this tour to any visitor, even NY residents! | ||||||

| I was born in NYC but learned a great deal from your 3 hour walking tour of SOHO. This was the third food and culture tour we experienced with your company and each one was terrific. Our guides were all extremely knowledgeable and provided interesting presentations at all of our stops. The food sampling was delicious and we hope to return to the shops/restaurants one day. An extra bonus was meeting delightful people on our tour from many different countries. | ||||||

| Again a fantastic tour. I have joined a few of these walking tours and so far I have not gone wrong. Susan is a very enthusiastic guide who combines food with the history and the culture of the area. We had a nice (although not very cosy) walk as it was freezing cold outside, but I think we all enjoyed the different stops. Loads of good food to taste and good tips even for the locals of high lights in the area. | ||||||

| We had a very enjoyable time on our tour. We were a family with two 20 something children and even they enjoyed their time. Guide (Bob) was very knowledgeable about even more than the tour. We would recommend this tour to anyone who asks. | ||||||

| What a wonderful way to experience any city and their local food specialities!! Our guide, Cindy, was full of trivia that was so helpful and informative. We've been on many food tours and this one was one of the best! Greenwich Village is such a neat place to poke around and learn of it's very diverse history. We hope to book another Foods of New York tour the next time we're in town! | ||||||

| What a pity we did this tour so close to the end of our stay in NY. Saw a lot of places we wanted to stay longer than 10 mins. and had only time left to visit one good restaurant. Our tourleader was a walking NY-database and brought her info with lots of enthusiasm. It was fun, well organised and very tasty. The three hours flew by. Only did not understand the visit to afrodisium, could have skipped that one for me. Highly recommended. Looking forward to our next visit to NY to do the Chelsea Market / Meatpacking tour. | ||||||

| We picked this day because we had family home for the Thanksgiving Break. We couldn't have picked a better activity. Everyone enjoyed the tour... it was so informative. The food was amazing! We sampled so many things... from warm cookies out of the oven to a sit down Italian treat. Diana our tour guide was great! This is our second Tour and we have thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We can't wait to plan our next one. | ||||||
