| Our tour guide Suzie was extremely knowledgeable about the different food locations and tastings, as well as the Central Greenwich Village area. Her personal experience within the territory and with the food was evident. My wife and I felt that the tour provided excellent value for the price. The volume of food was more than expected and Suzie's vignettes covering some of the sites (Minetta Lane, Washington Sq. Park, Cafe Wa) were very informative. Absolutely no complaints. | ||||||

| We had four days in NYC and this tour had been recommended to us. MAKE SURE YOU DO IT even if it means you miss some of the other more traditional sightseeing. Walking around Greenwich Village will give you a sense of the real New York and the restaurants that real New Yorkers rate. We tasted some fantastic food, met some of the chefs and laughed all the way round with our tour guide who had a great sense of humour. Our tour guide was Sephra (a trained pastry chef) so was more food focused that history and acrhitecture but that suited us fine! | ||||||

| Good variety of food. Great restaurants - we plan on going back to most of them. What was fantastic is hearing the owners/chefs of restaurant and speak and answering questions. More than enough food provided on the tour - but it was all wonderful. There were vegetarians in our group that were really well catered for - all places provided equal (or better!) alternatives - even at the butcher. It was great having the break in the middle with lots of walking. Wonderful history of the area - and the added movie and television references just added to the tour. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. The tour also oriented us in a very unfamiliar area. The bakery was a wonderful way to end the tour(probably the best stop!) - we remained behind for coffee. Highly recommended - a must if visiting New York. | ||||||

| Our tour guide Susan was very informative and knowlegable. The best stop was the first one and that was the Indian restaurant. I will definitely be back to Aamchi Pao. Do not eat anything before the tour because you get a lot of food. | ||||||

| My husband and I have lived in NYC for a few years and we went on this with my mom who was visiting from out of town. The tour was more than just food. We learned about the neighborhood/NYC history, tried amazing food samples and had quite a few laughs too. I would recommend this tour to anyone - locals and tourists alike! | ||||||

| Our tour guide was fantastic. I could tell that she knew a lot about food (she was a pastry chef) and she also had a passion for the subject matter. My family and I had a great time tasting the food and learning about the history behind Greenwich Village's landmarks. This was four hours well spent! | ||||||

| Upon the recommendation of a friend, I booked the Greenwich Village/Soho tour for my husband and myself for our first day in New York. It's been 30 years since I visited New York, and we had just 3 days to feel the rhythm of the city. Our tour was terrifuc, owing to the knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide. (I believe his name is Rahim, a charming young man.) His knowledge of the neighborhoods, his appreciation of the history, and his love of the food made our visit to the area such a pleasure. Thank you for treating us tourists to such a pleasurable experience. | ||||||

| We loved the walking tour. We loved it so much that we returned the next night to one of the resturants that was on the tour. I have passed this website to one of my friends that will be going to New York next year. On my next trip to New York I will do another walking tour of another district. | ||||||

| This was primarily a foodie event. As long as one is hungry, it was a worthwhile experience. Our particular guide was also very good in bringing up some "exotic" details about locations in the area. I get the impression that the knowledge he shared was based more on his personal interests and his own initiative, rather than informaiton that would be found in a standard tour. I feel very fortunate we had him, since his angle on many of these things was a lot of fun. We'll try other tours as well, at least for the food. | ||||||

| Our guide, Darrell, was very engaged in the tour and seemed like he was really enjoying himself. He also made sure we enjoyed ourselves by providing us with a brief history of the Chelsea Market and helpful culinary commentary and delicious food samplings. My husband and I were able to experience this area of New York in a way that we would not have on our own. I also feel like the price was reasonable, unlike a lot of other things in New York! | ||||||

| I read about these tours in a magazine a few years ago and wanted to try one - I am so pleased I did - got lots of food samples and our guide Darrel was fun - he showed us some top class restaurants and the high line and explained lots about the area showed us the nice and seedy side of things - good way to spend a few hours in New York, you can only do so much shopping! - I even think next visit I could persuade my husband to go on one with me - no small task - | ||||||

| rahmin was our guide and he was excellent! the food was all scrumptious and couldn't have been better we felt the pit stops where we didn't eat could have been a little shorter as we ran a lttle late the cuban restaurant was a little rushed as we ordered mojitos and had to gulp down (but was worth it) i'm looking forward to taking your other tours, especially the sushi unfortunately, the standing only tours may be too much for us | ||||||

| What a great way to get a sample from virtually place in the Chelsea Market and learn about the history, as well. Other people in the Market were just kind of wandering around deciding where to have lunch. Why decide? My cousin was with me and she has lived in NYC for the last 8 years. She learned a lot on the tour, and saw things that she hadn't before. I'm sure the other tours are just as good. I can't wait to try them. | ||||||

| We joined this tour - my family (wife, 2 girls 12 and 14) and two friends (2 old guys my age) with the idea that we would learn a bit about Chelsea area and enjoy some food rain or shine. Well we did - and plenty more. The history, the assortment of foods to everyone's taste, the great tour guide who kept all of us interested - he remebered everyone's name, and sprinkled with fashion and city character that really was unique to this area of NYC. We ALL enjoyed the experience - this was really an inexpensive and enjoyable event. Well worth the while. After the tour, we went back to explore some more and we knew exactly what we wanted to do!
